The rest of that defensive roster, though. Couple of maybes and otherwise just fuckin brutal. How many of those guys would even make the practice squad for a decent team?

They're really gonna run it back with "big improvement" aren't they? 4 defensive starters at around $10M per, any day now. Delusional.

Cook and Mafe are a good start. They're both quality players.

Still need a veteran LB, another DE, and a better DT than we currently have.

Either Chenal or Lloyd would be a nice addition. Reader is better than Slaton but not a top DT anymore. I would have gone for Tonga, who signed with the Chiefs at 3/21 which is pretty cheap.

Guessing we get one or maybe 2 of those. If they sign another DE it's probably going to be someone cheap. I think they're determined to prove Murphy is not a bust.

Yes, I don't expect another expensive pass rusher. Maybe they'll go up to 8 mil for Clowney or Fowler. More likely it's under 5 for someone like Van Noy. Depends on how much they spend at other positions.
