A team blaming an agent for not getting a deal done is ridiculous. Chase pulled a power move and that's what got the deal done, not who Tee's agent was.Bad blood from the Bates situation. Tee always wanted to be here. He had to dump the turd to make it happen. Burrow and Chase also both pushed to make it happen. Report

I was hoping to also add DeMario Davis but he signed with the Jets. Bobby Wagner is still available among the seniors contingent. Dre Greenlaw might be cheap and open to a prove-it deal.3 minutes ago, dex said:Walker and Dean aren't resetting the market at LB. Lloyd will want more than either. Chenal will probably want at least the 12 that Dean got. Report

March 9Mar 9 comment_1822667 ^ Bengals should be all in on Lloyd, even if they have to slightly overpay (like they did with Mafe). Report

March 9Mar 9 comment_1822670 Yeah, it's not an "overpay" if the player is getting other offers in the same ballpark. Report
March 9Mar 9 comment_1822676 Yeah, with the larger salary cap space most teams are flush with money to spend. The current market sets the prices. Pay the prices your competition is prepared to pay or expect to lose the targeted FA player. Report

I didn't think they had it in them but if they can land him I would call that an excellent start to FA.Knight should have a solid year 2 if they can pair him with someone like this. Dude can play, they just threw him into the fire with next to zero help around him. He looked capable to me, just overwhelmed. Let him worry about his own game instead of trying to QB a bad defense and he'll shine.Really need a DT better than Slaton to keep the LB's clean, whoever they end up playing. Report

So this years overpay is underpay in 2 years Report
