wtf guys , is it me or is all the "Trey is and old injury prone DE not worth a long term contract" people now crying that he went to a rival?

Trey didn’t end up getting the deal he wanted. 4 years for 112 is less than 30 a year. 60 million guaranteed is nothing to sneeze at, but he essentially has a 2 year deal that is well below the top of the DE market.

From the Ravens side of things, it’s sneaky to do what they did but ultimately they broke no rules. I would personally rather have Trey and keep the picks so it was probably better to do what they did. I read somewhere that signing Trey will cost them the 3rd round comp pick they would have gotten for Linderbaum. They also have to hope he can stay on the field the next couple of years, but the same could be said for Crosby wherever he ends up.

The biggest mistake that we made with Trey was bringing him back last season. I feel like that really hurt us more than we give it credit for. Took all that money and played what, like a few games? That was just a terrible move by us. We should have cut all ties after he ran off to Florida and posted all about it on social media like a 12 year old girl. Never let someone disrespect us like that. Then to pay him on top of that. Awful
