Slim Junior - slightly off topic

Featured Replies

Chris Henry's boy is on TV playing in the OSU spring game. Already has 2 big catches. Big Ten Network

I know the chances are slim (pun intended), but I hope some how he ends up a Bengal

Indeed

Following him on X, the guy is talented, and I second, I hope he ends up a Bengal.

I watched some of the game and CHJ looks the part. Barring injury he will be the next OSU WR after Smith.

Yeah, especially with Graham and Porter (former 5 star recruits) transferring out.

I didn't get to watch, kid had lacrosse tourney.

But living in Columbus an listening to local guys, the kid is going to be a stud almost instantly.. (and some are realistic, not just blind homers)

I would also love to see him as a Bengal some day, but just want him to be an awesome Buckeye first.. Both would be awesome though.

Doesn't he have another son that plays ball too?

  1. Chris Henry Jr.: Born around 2007, he is a highly-ranked wide receiver who played for Mater Dei High School in California before committing to Ohio State University. He is known for having a similar playing style to his father.

  2. DeMarcus "Bubba" Henry: A younger son who plays both football and basketball.

  3. Seini Henry: The daughter of Chris Sr. and Loleini, she plays basketball and has committed to Ohio State

I've not heard much about "Bubba". He was the youngest of the three siblings and would be about 17 yrs old now.

Thanks for that. Seems like more of a basketball focus for Demarcus and I like that he's sporting his Dad's #15. Prep school in Arizona. Tall, lanky 6'8" Junior who plays the guard position. The team also has 7'1" and 6'11" players. Wow!

Also a little surprised that he's already represented by...wait for it...David Mulugheta.

Jesus Christ a high school kid has an agent.

I really hate this timeline.

With NIL, most FCS players, at least in the big conferences have an agent. Maybe not Mulugheta but someone to negotiate appearances at the local car dealership, etc.

Upon closer examination, it appears his team is some elite/select AAU squad and not just a common high school team. Impressive.

Agree on the agent stuff and all the new NIL opportunities...its a different world.
