I really cannot decide if the deep LB class means we can get a significant higher talent level in 2 or not. I sort of dont think Golday hits us in 3rd round but its certainly possible, i half expected to draft him in the second..

looking at CB and LB.

we have two good CB. they finished the year 1st and 6th (IIRC) in coverage with hill and turner.

we have two young linebackers, but only knight is a guaranteed guy.

so i keep valueing a LB pick higher.. but the depth and different in talent is the deciding factor..

volume of CB is higher.. but that also shows perhaps your getting a better value in the 2nd, possibly a first round fringe talent in 2...

whereas in 3rd there are a bunch of 3rd round talent LB.. but thats going to get you a guy at best as good as knight. which is fine.

Id prefer Rodriguez and Abney II i think.. a great LB and a really good slot guy..

I'd prefer a high end backer that can Cover ..

Anthony Hill can do that.

Not downgrading Rodriquez but I want a coverage back to compliment Knight..

My prediction of who the Bengals could take (not necessarily who I would with each pick, though I would be happy with these). Note: I could see them staying close to home with 3 Bearcats.

Some mocks I did of guys I would take with different themes ...

In this one I took BPA but today thought of needs. Guys with upside and measurables.

In this one I took fan favorites and guys I think are dawgs who play mean. I also fixed the IOL for the future.
