That is the question many of us have asked. I would not trade Dexter for anyone in the draft so it's an easy answer for me. Curious what others/Jason/OSU fans are thinking.

Trade was the right choice and I would say it also made a statremnet to certian players on the team that the team is serious (still work to do but a statement none the less).

If we get 2 or 3 years of 2023/2024 Dexter, no for sure.

Every player has questions. Downs’ athleticism, Bain’s arm length, Dex’s potential decline/age. I think we’re all assuming we’ll get the best of Dexter Lawerence, which I hope we do. Now that we have Dexter, wouldn’t trade him for Bain or Downs, but there is an excitement of the unknown of rookies and the 4-5 years of cost controlled talent.

So over 1/3 of the top 11 are Buckeyes. Impressive

Not for Bain. Downs would be a harder choice. And yes there is some bias in that.

But we needed the immediate impact. And Lawrence affects the whole defense.

Downs is a Cowboy

damn it... I hate them too... soooo much, but at least it wasn't the clowns or stealers.. He's going to be such a beast..

There is the strong possibility the Cowboys would have moved ahead of us for Downs if we were still at 10 anyway.

He’s 28 years old 🤷‍♂️

Wtf are you talking about?

What was wrong with 2025 Dexter?

He didn’t put up the same numbers but he was still one of the best in the league…while being double/triple teamed on pretty much every snap.

Just accept the fact that the Bengals managed to get themselves one of the best players in the NFL in their prime.

It’s okay.

2025 Dexter was still good. But not elite. I guess the question then is does Downs become elite, and how long does it take.

Wow, Rams must really consider Simpson the future at QB

This.

Now let's hope the totally uninvolved owner doesn't get all boohoo sentimental about how this move should impact their roster. Cut loose the dead weight.

Oooof Ty Simpson oh so close to top ten lol

Simpson to the Rams is a bit of a wow

Uh, okay.

Who knows what The Voices had on the Bengals draft board but I can't help but notice OTs going at 9, 10, & 12.

I assume Downs would've been the pick but if the Pokes did jump ahead of them.. Well. Maybe the BPA was OL there after all.

This team is trying to win right now. There’s no way anyone can make an argument that Caleb Downs helps them achieve that more than Dexter Lawrence does.

It’s not even close.

No argument. And if we win a Lombardi in the next 3 years it was absolutely worth it.

😯 Bucs just got the best player in the entire draft at pick #15 .... A+++ to them.

Who’s the J-E-T-S quarterback again??
