The fact that every single team passed on him makes me wonder if there is something in his medicals that his camp wasn't being honest about, because the way it sounded after his pro day was that he was full go. I'm genuinely curious what is going on.

Rumors are he will need another procedure on his knee. Not sure how extensive but it sounded like he could miss time and obvi that concerned teams.

Passing on hometown Lemon or Bain for a 2-year clipboard holder 😆 ...

Getting your WR stolen by your in-state rival while hosting the draft in your city ... Brutal

Squeelers stuck their scrub draft pick in coach, instead of a private jet ... ✈️ 🫠

Broderick Jones isn’t healthy so I think it’s understandable why they picked another OT. He had spinal fusion surgery and supposedly a setback in his recovery. It’s murky at best whether he will be back at all.

Two more guys whose careers have been ruined by the perpetual Mistake on the Lake, it's actually sad to see every year. 70_poop

... Also, until they find a quality QB, Cleveland is wasting all the talent on their team.

I'm no doctor by any stretch but I have a sneaking suspicion people with spinal fusions should not play full contact sports, particularly NFL football.

(Just another example of the Bengals taking a massive risk on "damaged goods" at a discount, which amounted to nothing and required passing up on several much more solid players)

Not to mention all the wasted time trying to glue them back together and make it happen. Let's separate their charitable works from the football stuff. Build an orphanage or a library, that's not what this is for.

He’s 28 years old 🤷‍♂️

Wtf are you talking about?

I’m super late responding to this. There’s reason to believe Dex COULD be on the decline. Yes, he’s only 28, but production has been declining and 340+ body types don’t get better over time. I hope this isn’t the case, but it’s naive to think it couldn’t happen. There’s also a chance he just wasn’t motivated in NY, he was injured or even scheme change…we just don’t know. It’s a bet I’m glad the Bengals took so I hope it all works out well and we’re hoisting the Lombardi this year.
