*** [RD 4] Bengals Select ~ CONNOR LEW, C ***

Featured Replies

OK... I'm trying/starting to get over my Sour Apples Harry pessimism.

Either the pictures are deceiving or the stats from Go's fantastic Beast draft guide are off

but...

He's 6'4" and weighs 310 lbs ... sure doesn't look it. Bengals list him as 6'3", 293 lbs in the draft guide

And, as we know the all-important, has a 32 3/8 inch arm length

For comparison (and I like this a lot in combination with Lew)

Brian Robinson is listed as a C/G 6'5", 309 lbs (Bengals) and 33 1/4 arm length

Projected as Guard but can kick inside.

Ergo... I'm liking the Connor Lew pick a LOT more and the tandem with Robinson looks really strong.

Could even project to them being the opening day starters next to one another in the 2027 season.

Assume your speaking of Brian Parker..

I've called Lew...Lew Connor before.

As opposed to Matt Lee who's only ever played in the preseason? Is there that much difference?

Yes, that's a better resume than a UDFA that didn't even make Buffalo's roster.

But he is still a back-up center, if Lew can't answer the bell. Let's hope in that case Buffalo was just too stacked at IOL for him to make the team through no failing of his own.
