"Maybe it's a situation where I was just frustrated. Toward the end of the season, I was really frustrated as to how my production had gone down. And it wasn't due to a lot of double coverage," said Owens. "A lot of people may want to say it was double coverage, but if you break down the film and see where the balls are going and where I am, I tended to get frustrated." Owens had 54 catches for 12 touchdowns in the first nine games. In the next five, he had 22 catches for two touchdowns.
