Archbishop of Canterbury says "adoption of certain aspects of Sharia law seems unavoidable"

It seems that it's mostly over marriage issues.

Wondering what people thought of this. Is it right to allow Muslims separate venues for disputing legal issues? Does it open a "floodgate", as in, to what kinds of cases does Sharia law become applicable if this is agreed on? Personally I think it's dangerous to allow certain groups their own set of rules to operate under, even if it begins with marriage disputes.
