He was drafted in the second round by the Reds in 1998 but also went to the the University of Texas, where he redshirted as a freshman quarterback in 1998. In 1999, he decided to stick with baseball full-time.[/quote] It's an alright article just to see what the hype was on Dunn before he was called up. I didnt know he was going to be a quarterback at texas though.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_98250 He is about to become too expensive for Uncle Carls $3bil checkbook. They will trade him for some pitching prospects soon.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_98259 i'm not complaining, but dunn isn't a NFL qb right now, b/c he was a wuss... he wasn't going to start over simms (dude that plays for the bucs now, and phil simms son) so he decided to quit football and play only baseball... supposedly, he was much better at football, b/c he didn't really play baseball too much... i'm glad he quit and all, but facts are facts... tells you a little about his character... i agree w/ big dish... no way we can afford the 10 million he will get in arbitration after he busts 45-50 homers this year... i don't really care, b/c he still won't break 100 rbi's
June 3, 200520 yr comment_99113 I think the reds should argue to subtract 100 thou off for every strikeout he has this year. LOL
