One of the situations that Americans usually are not informed about is the plight of Palestians... not that I can blame them because the American Media has craftily blended Pro Palestinian rhetoric to imply Anti Semitism...

it makes this interesting Irony where if you are Pro getting rid of Concentration camps.... you could have rooted for the Jews against Hitler, and now against the Jews in Israel.

One of the issues that I also think Americans don't realize is how many foriegn problems stem from our backing of Israel.

To the rest of the World Palestine is the issue that reaks of a double standard and hpocrosy for everything we stand for and everything Bush says.

--> Bush talks about Democracy, but yet Israel does not allow any Palestinians to Vote. If they would open up the vote, the Palestinians would vote the Jews out of Office because the Palestinians are the majority.

--> This leaves the US backing what is the eqiuvalent of Apartheid. Israel implements curfews, does not allow Palestinians to travel, keeps them on reservations, does not let them work or leave, makes them carry identity books just like the ones Ghandi revolted against in S Africa... every facet of their life is controlled.

--> Without Israel there is no Al Qaeda, without Israel there is no 9/11, without Israel there is no War of civilizations between the West and Islam.....

I don't think Americans realize that 90 % of the World looks at Israel and calls them what they are.... and illegal terrorists state, who does not grant the right to vote to the majority of it's population. Now we just invaded their neighbor Iraq and talked about how great Democracy is and so the World looks at that and has a brain fart..... like what the fuck are these people stupid?

--> Plus the US pours millions into Israel... since 1950 we have spent over 150 $ on Israel for every 1 $ we spent on Africa. Our prioroties are clear.... back the state that enshackles the Palestinians and protects the Jewish homeland for Jesus' return that Bush and Co are expecting, and fuck the starving.

The Israel situation is not about religion it is about basic human rights.... and the US vetoes every UN resolution where the rest of the world condemns Israel for human rights violations.... so when Saddam disobeys a resolution and we invade.... the World thinks "What the fuck, invade Israel too, they violate every resolution"

Also, there are two groups of Jews, and most people don't differentiate between them. Orthodox and Zionist Jews. The Zions have taken the Jewish name and used it to their advantage to gain land in the middle east, yet there are many Orthodox Jews who do not think they should be in Israel until God has chosen for them to go back. So now, all Jews are lumped into one category, and the Zionists have taken the Jewish name and used the Holocaust to further their own cause.

An example of the super orthodox dudes are the sect called the Natori Karta. They number about 10,000 and live near the old city of Jerusalem. Live their lives completely by the Talmud. Very fundamentalist, and one of their beliefs is that the current state of Israel is blasphemous as it was founded on political beliefs and through political action. To them, the true Israel will be founded when the Messiah leads them. Till then, any form of a Jewish state is blasphemous.

What differentiates these dudes from other sects are that as a result of their beliefs, they extend significant financial, logistical and moral support to anti-Israeli forces like the PLO! They were major allies of Arafat when he was alive. Some of their members have been accused of smuggling arms to the PLO and other militant organizations!

They are led by Rabbi Mosheh Hersh. He openly wept at Arafat's funeral.

Members of the anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jewish group Natori Karta - long-time allies of Arafat - made the trip to Ramallah.

They've been in the news recently as one of their members is accused of attempting to smuggle a would be suicide bomber through an Israeli checkpoint.
Roger that... I'm just helping out the point that you can be anti-Israel without being anti-semitic.

I am very anti-Israel, but I work at one of most pro-semitic places around.

If they found out what I thought about things, I'd be gone in 5 minutes, maximum.
