Devon Still surprises Lauren Hill, a terminally ill basketball player

Devon Still could have shied away from public attention and focused wholly on the recovery of his young daughter Leah, who is battling cancer. Instead the Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle is being a hero to his daughter, an advocate for cancer research and on Tuesday he brightened the day of one young woman going through a fight of her own.

College basketball player Lauren Hill is a hero and inspiration in her own right. The 19-year-old was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and has been forced to come to terms with her own mortality. She is making the most of the time she has by continuing to play basketball and raise awareness. Lauren was surprised at practice on Tuesday when she thought she was simply there to prepare with her team, Mount St. Joseph University.

Still met with the team, spent time with Lauren and snapped a few photos.

Devon Still wasn't going to leave just giving Lauren a memorable moment, he had a heartfelt gift for her.
