    Yeah I saw that but it doesn't really say much IMO.

    I can only hope all the rookies stay the next 2 days but I assume the team has to curtail organized activities?

     

    At any rate I still think it's a bad look for the team to be the ONLY 1 day rookie session, especially when Zac's record of first 2 games of 

    each season are a mind numbing 1-11. In '24 he started 0-3 and we were 1-4 2 weeks later which realistically killed our playoff chances.

     

    We'll see how it all turns out but we have some very important positions that will undoubtedly be filled by rookies and why Zac

    doesn't want to give them every chance to succeed is beyond my comprehension.

    Lou is responsible for having and guiding his assistants, he needs to be accountable for them.

    at adjustments but can't find a way to create pressure anywhere else but the DL!?  Seriously!  

     

     

    Lou did look pissed after the play when Hubbard got hurt. I put that on Zac or whoever decided to put one of our few remaining DL in on a cutesy play we didn't need to beat a shitty team. Looks like another dumbass Zac call to me. Lou sucks and needs to go but not for that call.

    The worst metric to judge LBs by is number of tackles - if you have a shit DL, which we do. Slow to diagnose (read and react), run around blocks rather than stuff holes, constantly over-commit, and yeah, they can intercept some balls but they are slow as shit in coverage. Oh, and the worst thing? My god they can't tackle. Take down arm tackles at best that give the ball carriers and extra few yards. 

     

    Sadly Safety and CB have gone up the wishlist along with the perennial needs of DT and another DE, but I'm not sure this D could get a better upgrade than getting a smart, rangy, tenacious, tone-setting LB. We are soft, and the softness runs right up the middle through the rest of this team. 

    A better upgrade would be an upgrade at DC...I hope they keep their options open to find one.

    Agreed, Joe said they need 7 wins in 9 games to make the playoffs and that seems reasonable. We got one of the easy ones today but need a split with Balt Thursday then a sweep of Clev and no less than a split with Pitt to have a chance. Still a longshot in my mind with Zac's play calling and game management.
