Playing soccer at your age is remarkable..
There’s an 83-year-old playing in my over-40 league, so me playing isn’t all that impressive.- 1

Nothing I love more than footy. I wish I had come across it when younger, but the sport was virtually unknown around my parts in the late ‘60’s/early ‘70’s. Good on ya for still doing it.
Glad I did find golf, though. While not an aerobic sort of thing, it’s still a nice 3-4 mile walk over hill and dale a few times a week
Soccer was also “unknown” when I grew up in central Indiana. I basically just ran track and cross-country in high school.
When my now 39-year-old son was 6, my wife signed him up for soccer…and that was the first time I had ever even touched a soccer ball. I helped out (bench babysitter) with his team a few seasons.
When my daughter turned 6, I figured that I knew enough to coach 6- and 7-year-old girls, so I signed up to coach her team. Quite the shock when I received my roster…and they had instead given me my son’s team of 10- and 11-year-old boys. So I read a lot of books…and ended up with a great bunch of boys…and they went 7-2-1 (W-L-D) with a coach that didn’t know what he was doing. With what I know now, I think I could take that team to 10-0.
After a few seasons of coaching, I thought that it looked like fun and I would like to try it. I reached out to an over-30 coed league in Loveland and ended up getting invited to sub for a team in a make-up game. So, at the age of 42, I played my first game of soccer. I had a blast. I ended up helping to create a new over-30 coed team (A Few Gray Hares) and have been playing ever since.
I now run a 16-team Over-40 outdoor league in the spring and in the fall.I just love this sport. ⚽️

That’s a sad account. As the years have edged on, I have kept a sober view of high-exertion activities. I’m not 20..or even 40 any longer. Trying to compete in something like sand volleyball, is not in the best interest. Or pickup basketball. I mean, I golf a lot—walking—but that isn’t sprinting or that sort of thing.
Not totally washed, and still give some of the old activities a go periodically. As the late, great, Toby Keith said: “I ain’t as good as I once was…but I’m as good once as I ever was”
I will turn 70 in December and just love playing soccer, including in tournaments around the country. I may very well drop dead while playing, but at least I will be doing something I love. ⚽️- 4

If unopened, you can return the anal lube for a full refund…
…or just hang onto it until next year. 😎

An F MINUS!!!??? Not just an F, an F MINUS. Seems like having NO family care and NO cafeteria would warrant an F.
Is Mike Brown taking a dump on the players’ wives….and on the cafeteria food?

Watching a ZimWhodey vs Joe Goodberry discussion and this guys name got brought up, someone to keep an eye on.
…and I’m sure Ja’Marr would be more than happy to let him have jersey # 1. 🥷

There were several video clips, and one mentioned DJ Reader. That’s only reason I knew. I’m sure that there are several players that I wouldn’t recognize without a numbered jersey…and I few I wouldn’t know WITH a numbered jersey. 😇- 1

The rest of the league probably noticed that Hudson moved seamlessly into the starting lineup over Irv Smith.
The Titans’ new head coach may have noticed…😎

That’s mostly the rubber pellets that make it look bad. Looks like they didn’t bother grooming the field…which I would imagine would require a re-painting. This could also have been after a heavy rain, as the rubber pellets will float to the top.
I wonder if this might still be an issue with the new turf.

I have been wrong before but Sample and Hudson seem like they will definitely be back.
It kinda depends upon what Callahan is thinking/doing with the Titans. He could attempt to sign one…or both. -
I like the plan that keeps our QB from getting hit 48 times in a game.

They tag Tee at 21m l and still have a bargain.
Tag in 25 for 24 mil is a good price.
2 yrs. 45 mil..22.5 per
Worth every penny if they can do it
Minor adjustment: If the tag for Tee for 2024 is $21m, then the tag for Tee for 2025 would be at least $25.2m (20% increase).- 2

You may need to sweeten the pot with a 4th-round draft pick…🥷
