Mrs. Cricket: “When is he [Mahomes] going to be old enough to grow a real mustache?”

No way in hell they’re getting the #7 overall pick in the draft for Tee. That’s not even close to being based in reality.
Yeah, but there are many ways to even out the exchange and potentially make it palatable to each team. Such as: we swap 1st-round picks and 2nd-round picks and they give us their 3rd-round pick…or, more preferably, we swap 1st-round picks and they give us their 2nd-round pick.
if we want to get something for Tee, it’ll just take some creativity.

You can probably also bet when he is going to have his next bowel movement.

The better Mahomes plays, the more he can expect to receive in any restructuring of his contract…which limits KC’s ability to surround him with good players.

Lance Zierlein 2024 NFL mock draft 1.0: Falcons, Patriots make trades to land QBs
First of all, I have NO idea how good any of these guys are, and am basically getting my “info” from what you guys post.In this draft, with Fashanu, Mims, Guyton, Powers-Johnson, and others still available at pick 18, it seems like trading down a few spots and picking up another draft pick (assuming we can find a trade partner) might be a wise move. Is Fashanu expected to be that much better? Just asking, as I really have no idea.

Pro-bowl was rigged. Refs swallowed their whistles as the AFC receiver was held, preventing him from catching what would have been the game-winner on 4th-and-goal with just a few seconds left. 😡

I suppose it makes no difference…but why are all of the Pro Bowl Games takes in the “Enemies” thread?
I acknowledge that these silly “games”—or whatever in the world they are supposed to be—don’t need its own thread.
Edit: I see even more in the “random” thread also.
Lazy late-day Sunday. Carry on
Apparently the rules for where to post pro-bowl information are just like the rules used at the pro-bowl…totally misunderstood and loosely applied. It’s like a bunch of 8-year-olds making up the rules as they go…. No 🥷 -

Smith gets alot of flack because of taking off his shirt at the combine, but he was a solid starter while he was here. I think he gets some flack for not being as good as Willie, but who is? And the guys between Willie and him were awful.
Andre Smith was very much a “God is in control” kind of guy, and it took him awhile to figure out that he needed to WORK to get better.Jackson Carman is cut from the same cloth.

In the 2024 draft, though, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the team attack the offensive line as early as the first round.
The team’s recent history says otherwise. They are more likely to address it in free-agency and throw a bandaid on it.
OL in round-1 WOULD be a shock…but a shock that many (including Joe Burrow) would be thrilled to see.

I certainly have more confidence in Joe Burrow running a Jake Browning game plan than Jake Browning running a Joe Burrow game plan (which they tried to do in Jake’s first start). 🤨

Just an interesting FYI…Pro-bowl center Jason Kelce was a linebacker when he started at UC.

Boogar’s best impersonation of Captain Obvious. 🤨Even Mrs. Cricket recognized the stupidity of passing up the FG attempt to go up three scores.
[In Dan Campbell’s defense, there were two or three fairly easy catches that his receivers failed to haul in that would have made a huge difference, including on that specific 4th-down play.]

Can’t finish sacks (again). OK—they will score 5 minutes in.
Edit: now they get two in a row!
But they did score at 5 mins.
My “?” was meant for New Jersey Bengals’ post: “Not that was luck”Thats on me for not making it clear. 🦗

Josh Allen and/or the Offensive Coordinator just plain got stupid on that last drive. All they had to do was to keep stacking the first downs and burn the clock. Instead there were two very long throws with little chance of success…and if one of those long throws would have been successful, they would have given Kermit more than enough time to counter. 🦗

Yes, drafting BPA doesn't build as strong a roster as Most Value Added, which compares a draft prospect to the player he'd bump off the roster if picked.
Yes, and the powers-that-be are making those decisions/evaluations based upon Year 1, AND Year 2, AND Year 3, etc.- 1

Yeah, that was all bad luck due to the injury. The Bengals would be getting blasted if Trey had a similar injury and Lawson played well.
