    Were they offered deals and contemplating it? Are we waiting on physicals? Did the Bengals decide against signing them after the Ruby's bill came due and they saw 7 appetizers in the check?

    Fields is better than Pickett and I will give the Stoolers credit for realizing what most knew, Pickett was never going to develop. So they cut thier losses. 
     

    neither of these guys or Burrow or Lamar obviously but they will keep the Stoolers in the mix. 

    And fields is a free agent next year so they'll have to pay him or he's gone

    Guess it depends on what's offered, but the thought of getting him doesn't jazz me. Give me some other guy with starting experience who can mentor a rookie and be serviceable (which I'm not sure Bechton is) - like a Riley Reiff type - until the rookie is ready to step in. Still think there'll be some guys cut that could fit that role. 

    I'd easily take Trent brown before him but I guess we'll see

I know Pollack knows him well and coached him, and I think Derek Frazier as well, but he's not a "clean" player at all. 

     

    Same deal with Tart. Basically played his way out of Tennessee and the Texans, who picked him up later on, don't seem to be in a rush to re-sign him... that is, if they wanted to at all. And we know that the Texans did seem to be with Rankins. And in Tart's case, both places had defensive-minded head coaches. 

     

     

    Supposedly Texans wanted rankins back and yes read about beckons motivation issues

    One guy that played pretty well in Dallas last year was Jonathan Hankins at DT. Cowboys drafted Mazi Smith, who wasn’t ready and Hankins really helped them in defending the run. He’s older but he’d be a guy I’d consider, as I believe he is a FA now.
     

    At T, the cupboard is pretty bare in FA, IMO. Wonder if it’s the Cody Ford show at RT and whomever they decide to draft. 
     

     

    Thinkvtrent brown and Tyron smith are out there but smith won't play RT
