Probably a draft pick here and next man up when it comes to depth.

Devin Bush is interesting as he played for Kovacs before

Deion Jones is interesting as he can cover and has leadership experience as a captain

Isaiah Simmons will always be interesting with his versatility

Again your work here is absolutely Incredible I really like isiah Simmons great athlete

^ Last season Townsend made 2.6 million. I imagine after winning the SB he likely wants a raise to at least 3 mill a year.

To me, that's money well spent and good bang for your salary cap buck. 💰

Plus he's only 27. So give him a 5 year, 15 mill deal.

I guess the queefs thought they couldn't sign him

Yes, that was quite surprising. Sam Monson was pushing that narrative, and the other guy was on the Tee train. No doubt, DJ Reader was a tone setter on defense, but given his injury - which the Bengals should know more about than anyone re: severity and his prognosis/recovery - that's a huge risk to take on. Not saying they shouldn't consider re-signing him, but I would think that the tag is earmarked for Tee, and they'll keep close tabs on DJ's rehab.

If they tag Tee and don't plan on getting a long term deal with him I hope they trade him and get something for him

Tight end is another interesting spot.

    Everyone is a free agent

-Hudson is either an RFA or UFA depending on where you look, regardless he should be back

-Sample might get a decent payday. He is great for his role

-Wilcox should be back. He is versatile in that he can block, catch and play teams, not great at anything though

    -Smith is gone....career probably over

With Burrow is always makes sense to sign a TE who wants to play with him vs drafting a guy. There are a lot of options, Henry, Parkinson, Everett and Fant stand out to me.

1-Schultz is the best of the class but probably too much for us

2-Henry is very interesting, older than we like but rock solid

3-Brycen Hopkins hasn't gotten a chance but could be solid

4-Uzomah is likely to be released and could be back

5-Everett might be the best option. Still has some juice and ties to Taylor

6-Fant is the best field stretcher of the bunch and just 26

7-Alie-Cox is probably a cap casualty and will come cheap

8-Parkinson is just 25 and has flashed

9-Bryant is just 26 and has shown well but probably not a primary TE

10-Gesicki is basically a slot WR, but a good one

11-Albert O-Just 26 and has a ton of upside. Frine roster guy

    Again incredible work !

Last year the Bengals missed out on 6'8 Dawand Jones and his ungodly reach.

This year there is one player with similar reach to Dawand ... The 6'7 Patrick Paul.

    Dawand Jones
    36 3/8"  arms
    87 7/8"  wingspan

    Patrick Paul
    36 1/4"  arms
    86 1/4"  wingspan

    IMG_20240213_234008.jpg

... He can basically touch the ground while standing up.

    I hope we pick him
