  1. Did I miss something with these two? Did they get injured and I missed it with all the attention on JoeB?
  2. Spoken like someone who's never had a car damaged in a parking lot. Not fun and never any witnesses or notes left resulting in damage claim, time lost, cost of insurance deductible and your car is never the same. Sorry, but his is a hot button topic for me since I'm a car guy and people who are lazy, irresponsible, and "privileged" just piss me off...and yes it does impact others...frequently. It's both ironic and comical that the idiots in that video are blabbering on about "personal property" and "touching/damaging personal property" when that is in fact the very issue but on the other side of the coin.
  3. Yeah, agree. Apparently it was a big shindig at the estate of the Fanatics CEO in the Hamptons with a "White Apparel" theme...attendees included Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Kardashian/Jenner, Kevin Hart, many sports celebs, etc, etc.
  4. Everybody is special these days...rules, common sense, and common courtesy obviously don't apply to these privileged individuals.
  5. I was thinking the same thing...maybe its just the perspective/angle of the view, but dayum that boy looks like a f-ing beast!
  6. I still don't understand all the tricks/games regarding the salary cap and "getting by with stuff"...so...I'm wondering if this isn't just some way to play the cap game so it actually benefits the Chiefs team as a whole and not necessarily just for Kermit's personal salary/ego?
  7. Good luck to Gio in his future endeavors...always like him...played bigger than his size and with heart. Wasn't he the one driving his Mother-In-Laws old mini-van in Hard Knocks? Good stuff.
  8. As a born and raised Westsider who now lives on the Eastside and also Skyline lover, I cannot agree and you may actually have that backwards. The original Skyline was on Glenway Ave in the westside (1949) not far from Elder HS...long before GoldStar existed and started in Mt Washington in the eastside (1965). I'll eat either, but much prefer the taste of Skyline...or Price Hill Chili or Camp Washington Chili or Blue Ash Chili for that matter. However, I can't argue with T-Dub's point about the lack of Skyline's meatiness vs GoldStar though...true dat. Actually, I always chuckle about comparisons/preferences with food...there's a reason why ice cream comes in so many flavors...we all have different tastes. Prolly applies to things other than food too. J&D here we come
  9. Trump attended with (or at least sat next to?) an interesting mix of Mike Tyson, Kid Rock, and Dana White (president of UFC). They were seated in the same row as the Burrow gang, but just closer to the aisle. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-surprise-ufc-287-appearance-mike-tyson-kid-rock-2023-4
  10. No kidding...ratings/audience grab IMHO. It is particularly offensive to me that Joe's name is even mentioned in the same breath as Lamar. Those two could not be any more different in terms of their focus, their outlook on life and football, their overall attitude, their feelings about team, etc, etc, etc. I also wouldn't put Joe in the same sentence with Lamar and the others in terms of talent and overall upside.
  11. Has Rodgers actually signed with the Jets or some other AFC team and I missed it? Regardless, I like BJ's list better anyway.
  12. Yep, and I think that Whit/JB connection is partially what fueled the fire for Whit coming back for a SB run after a couple of our OLine went down late in the year. Two of my favorite Bengals of all time, especially Whit...he just seems like the best guy ever...so sad we couldn't keep him and have him retire a lifelong Bengal.
  13. ...and Tyler Boyd was there and filming it from what I've heard. Tight knit group that hopefully stays together for a few super bowl runs.
  14. I still don't understand all this cap stuff. It seems like several teams have been in "cap hell" for years and still continue to survive, sign players, generate revenue, and all seemingly unaffected by said "hell". So...are there really penalties and negative actions involved or is it just a guideline for the honest teams that choose to abide by it? I'm not asking for details, just a reassurance that there are some negative consequences and a highlight of what those are.
  15. While the bolded first statement is entirely accurate, I just can't agree with the rest. Making JB play out his rookie contract, or even much more of it at this point, would be a tremendous slap in the face. I understand it's a business, but we have something special with JB and both sides should do what's fair and equitable based on reality. Joe is obviously worth tons more than what he is currently getting paid and the Bengals should reward his impact on this franchise by being proactive in getting out ahead of this. Plus since salaries continue to go up in a crazy manner, its not a terrible business decision to do it sooner rather than later anyway. I've been a Bengals fan for decades...almost since day one...and there hasn't been anyone/anything like JB in this franchise. Yeah, yeah, Kenny, Boomer, Carson, Dalton (I put this in just for Tibor & Go of course)...but none of them have done for this franchise what JB has done. I used the word "franchise" quite a bit, but that's what JB is. Just IMHO.
  16. Slim and None...and Slim is on vacation. Fun to think/talk about, but nope. Honestly, the current receivers all have their complementary roles/lanes...not sure I'd even want to mess with that. If one needs to be replaced, try to fit that same role/lane IMHO. Also, I don't really follow Jefferson much, but at first glance he seems more diva-ish than all of our guys combined.
  17. I'm thinking this might be on the Chosen 1's locker... "Mike Tomlin Says Teams Have Made Necessary Adjustments to Stop Ja'Marr Chase" from James Rapien article: https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/allbengals-insiders-plus/mike-tomlin-jamarr-chase-bengals-Stealers
  18. If there is any information about funeral memorial services information available please pass it along...assuming it's public of course. I've google a couple times and haven't seen a match.
  19. Hey thanks for checking in man. Your name was one of the ones that popped up in my head with all this...hadn't heard from you in a while and I know you've had some serious health issues yourself. Stay safe/healthy.
