I guess the Jets are going to be forced to see if the #2 pick from 3 years ago can actually play. He will never get an opportunity like this again.

They just showed a slo motion replay. You can literally see his Achilles pop. He is done.

Bills Chiefs and Bengals all lose to teams not making playoffs last year..
Yeah, Jets are snake bitten for sure. Great defense gonna be wasted.

Good for the Jets. Josh Allen played like ass.

So, let me get this straight. The wunderkind “running QBs” like Jackson, Watson, and Justin Fields, all got sacked more than Burrow did???
Weird.
Well, Jackson and Watson both easily won their games and Fields had almost 200 more yards of offense and 17 more points than Burrow.

If you upgrade players and constantly get the same results, then perhaps it's schematic, and even an OL of 5 Anthony Munozs wouldn't matter.
The Bengals passing scheme demands a Kamara / Gibbs type RB for it to work and they have yet to use one. Going in shotgun and having Mixon stand next to Burrow as a predictable blocker allows the DL to ignore the run entirely and pin their ears back.
The Bengals should be calling KC and offering a 3rd rd pick for CEH, though KC likely wouldn't do it as they wouldn't want to reunite him and Burrow.
At least have a workhorse type RB for short yardage and passing plays who is maybe 5-11 240lbs, is a great pass blocker and averages 4.1 yds a carry. Don’t know where we could find one of those.

When I first read the thread headline I thought it said, “Bengals offensive line had DAY OFF in Cleveland”. It sure looked like it.

Three things stand out:
1. Offensive Line was unable to block Garrett who applied inside pressure on almost every down. The line was unable to pass block. Burrow had no choice but to throw early.
2. Given 1 above the play calling was awful. Too many deep routes that were never going to work based on the Stains pass rush. Boyd should have had 12 catches.
3. on third and 8 THE RECEIVER MUST GO AT LEAST 9 YARDS DOWNFIELD!!!!!

But he didn’t exactly light the world on fire with his game, either. I’m still not convinced that he’s the savior that the Browns think he will be.
I agree.

I watched a different game. He looked terrible and looked terrible all last year. I think it's very likely he is bad and they paid him all that money and that's funny to me.
Burrow played like utter dogshit. Baker Mayfield had a better game today. I am not saying Watson is great but he easily outplayed Burrow today. In my opinion it’s a one off but don’t pretend today didn’t happen.

Have to remember they use this game as a preseason game, they hope to win and don't care if they lose. Its a proven model and works really well. If you think Joe Burrow will play this badly throughout the year I think you are wrong.
It rained.
Browns D is good
We found out Watson isn't good. He looked terrible again.
I have no doubt we are good. I don't know how good.
Watson played in the same bad conditions and outplayed Burrow. Simple fact.

One of the ugliest games I can remember.
Everybody sucked including Zac.
The defense has held Cleveland to 17 points on 11 possessions. The last TD was a gift by the offense. Defense was left out to dry.

No spy on the rapist down by the goal line.
Terrible half of football.
The defense played fine. The browns had 7 offensive possessions. SEVEN. The offense was utter shit. 3 first downs. Cleveland is a power running team with a great back. The defense played great considering the weather and time on the field.

Our defense is playing great but we will not be able to keep it up. Chubb awesome late game runner
-
Wow. That was bad.
-
Ole Chubby gonna chew our ass up second half if we don’t get this offense figured out.

To be fair, Dalton has outplayed Wilson the last 3 years on way worse teams.
