That's a slap in your face Lou.
They are a good team. Touchdown Jesus and Joe B will be slinging for years.

Fair warning: If they skip OL until day 3 or again ignore it entirely Im'a snap.
Come on man, these guys have worked all their lives trying to make it in the pros. Why you wanna ruin one of their careers by sending them to O Line purgatory?

Then why doesn't every team allow multiple sacks per game or average <4 yards per carry?
It may not be easy but other teams are drafting decent OL. Last year the Bengals didn't even try. I don't think building one entirely through FAs will work.
A lot of teams do. Just look at Burrow’s draft. 7 tackles chosen in 1st round. 1 great (Tristan Wirfs 4th tackle chosen) 5 ok and 1 guy played 1 game and is already out of the league, Isaiah Wilson Titans. Getting an OK tackle in the first round is now a goal.
It took Penei Sewell a year to figure it out. Detroit fans thought he was a bust after the first year b

OT’s coming out of college nowadays are trash unless you’re getting a guy at the very top of the draft. Pass rushers, touchdown-makers and cover corners are the way to go.
They aren’t trash they just don’t know how to play pro football. Almost every college plays RPO or spread offense. These guys don’t know how to run block at all.

Most other organizations have owners who have other forms of income, the Bengals do not. The team is their source of income, which is why it is referred to as a "mom and pop organization".
That's not to say the can't do more or that they haven't made strides in some areas either.
Green Bay is run like an actual corporation since it is. I really haven’t had a big problem with the Bengals for awhile as far as ownership.
Even when Marvin was the coach it was light years better than the Decade of Darkness. (92-02). Probably could have unloaded Marvin quicker, and Brat.

That must be a mistake because if you ask some, they’ll say Browning wasn’t the issue with the loss. I’ll say browning was THE issue in the loss.
No no no every head coach in NFL history is 4-20 without Joe burrow. Every decent coach needs a Joe burrow to succeed. I mean, just look at Kyle Shanahan. #1 overall pick Purdy is their QB. Imagine how horrible they’d be if they had, say, the last pick of the draft as their starting QB. No coach can succeed without Joe burrow. It’s a proven factMeh, it’s like finding a 67 Vette in an old widow’s barn under a tarp. Brady, Warner and Purdy are unicorns. None of them amount to shit if they had ended up at Detroit, Cleveland or Arizona.(which is true of most QBs).

This is why you have to give credit as much as it pains me to say it to Mike Tomlin, even though they have no shot of winning it all with Picket as their QB, he somehow finds a way to not ever have a losing season.
Tomlin is doing it with smoke, mirrors and timely no-calls from the refs this year. And the reality is the non losing record thing has hurt the Stealers long term.
The inability to get a true franchise QB is sending them back to the mid 80s to early 2000’s era and you can’t get by with just a great defense anymore. Not that I am tearing up or anything.
