I think the chances of that happening are far less than 50-50.
Well if not let's hope they have the sense to not let holdouts stand around at practice watching everyone else sweat while they complain to the media.
Not saying their reasons are bad but still.. Work or go home. It's an NFL training camp, not their pity party.

I don't know this is something people will forget.
I guess I haven't seen it. There are a few like Rogan that seem bothered by it but it's still pretty mild.
I think deep down they've known for a long time and already decided they don't care or still reject reality completely. These are people that count the letters in his 3AM shitposts to find the Secret Code. Half of them would probably offer him their own children.
It's good to force them all to vote for it on record but until there are real consequences it's just a distraction.
eta: Apparently he said Obama "invented" the Epstein files? Trump's inability to STFU will once again make this a bigger problem than it would've been had he ignored it.

I would call that an organization-wide issue, despite all the excuses. Like the opener "oh we didn't know which WR to gameplan around."
Yeah, that definitely sucked, but it didn't happen without reason. Decisions made at the very top of the franchise led them there. It's ok to say "we let that drag on too long, we'll learn from that mistake" but instead it seems like it's always some new form of prevarication. Do they really think they're crushing it on every level & just victims of bad luck? Does anyone?

Yeah looking into them more they sound really solid. About the only complaint I find is the radiant heating systems aging out on them. To be expected on an older home. Hell anything over 20 years it's probably worth replacing most of the appliances. Tank water heaters alone are comically wasteful.

Why wouldn't he? This is where Tee, Joe and Ja'Marr all want him to play. Because of the way that Joe likes to operate in spread-wide formations, and the fact that he will never be given much time to wait for receivers to get open - he needs big, sure-handed targets that are always where they need to be and can catch passes in very tight windows. He has total comfort with Tee and Ja'Marr. And one of these years Tee isn't going to have any soft tissue injuries that costs him snaps and games. This year, maybe?
I don't think the defense will ever be elite. All we can reasonably hope for is close to average. To win games the Bengals are going to have to score a lot of TDs. McPherson needs to return to form in big situations.
Also, Tobin doesn't make big trades.
They didn't intend to keep him, are paying him way more than they wanted if they did, and wrote an easy 2-year out into a contract they were cornered into signing.
Sure it's all rah-rah now but as soon as they have someone they think is capable to replace him..

Crazy to think that for the next two years, Tee has a higher cap number than Chase. And Tee's $30M guaranteed at signing is double what he's made since he's been in the league - even with one year of the franchise tag.Yeah I'm sure it is, a different player that's top 20ish at their position would be better and almost certainly cheaper outside of a DE.
Really don't expect him to play out the contract here.

This is a listing for a Lustron house not too far from me. Just so you can get an idea of what the look like.
The paneling everywhere would take some getting used to, nice though. How's that stuff in a fire?

This crazy SOB wants to act on what they claim to stand for, against their personal interest. And he seems capable, too - it's not loveable old crazy Grandpa or a grandstanding TikTok celebrity.
Woah now, buddy! What's in it for AIPAC?

First of all, zoning regulations now usually require a minimum square footage and lot size, and these homes would probably not meet the requirements.
Second of all, these would probably fall under “manufactured housing “ and even if they have a foundation and are attached as real estate, they’re more difficult to obtain financing on.
Third of all, because it’s too practical. This would be great for in fill housing in urban neighborhoods for a start. You could build a community of these in the suburbs, if the suburbs would accept them.
Sears used to make homes. They had numerous floor plans, would deliver the kit with all the supplies to the lot, and you would build it. They’re close to 100 years old, or older, and still standing, and are really cool. I have one up the street from me.
In the 40’s after the war, you had Lustron Homes, which were built out of ceramic coated metal. They were about 1000 square feet with carports. Really cool and efficient for GIs coming back and starting families. 75+ years later, still standing.
You are starting to see houses being built with 3D printers that are really cool, cost efficient, and more durable than stick built homes.
I'd never heard of Lustron homes - those are cool. Thanks for that.
Knew someone living in a big log & adobe roundhouse. Very efficient with no A/C needed & a wood stove. Drum compost toilet & cascading gray water leach fields. Place was amazing but the only way to insure it was through an NPO trust with a roadside farm stand & nature center. The building wasn't old enough to qualify for whatever exemptions based on historic value, but the surrounding land did. No idea how that all worked legally but stewarding a paleolithic site abutting National Forest gave them some clout.
Know someone else that has a 1940's Quonset USACE fused to the side of what started as a 2-room cabin ~150 years ago. Huge stone hearth, also with a wood stove. Same problems with insurance and financing, then simple permits for an addition to a "nonconforming structure" IIRC...
I think of those places & yeah, some building & fire codes are important so we don't build deathtrap slums, but it matters much more to banks and insurance agents. Then when it comes to emergency housing.. We're going to put men, women & children inside chain link with some tarp over it. In a swamp, like they read about Andersonville and got excited. All those codes went straight out the window, not to mention law, the Constitution, basic human decency. This when we're not outsourcing the job to some of the most horrendous & abusive prisons on Earth. And we've still got the deathtrap slums, btw.
So I see people driving out to BFE Florida to take selfies with a boxcar in front of the "Arbeit Macht Frei" sign. These same people will throw a fit if someone tries to build a shelter anywhere near them. We saw this in Cincinnati with the Drop-Inn Center & gentrification around Washington Park. NIMBYs would rather have 2 airports & a gravel quarry over a shelter. They didn't even want a bus terminal because public transportation is for poors, too, I guess?
Why aren't we building cheap shelter for people living on the street, or at least leaving them the fuck alone when they band together in tent cities to have some semblance of community?
Simply because we'd rather not, thanks.

Well, no, but it's also thousands of years old and translated through half a dozen different languages before English, by various people with their own agendas... So there's probably a Bible quote for any position you care to take, regardless.

They have to spend a certain % over a certain number of years, pro-rated, averaged, etc etc... I'm sure there are ways to game it in their favor just like some other teams are able to juggle salaries to barely stay under the cap. Heh... suckers. 🥷 So maybe it's not going into their account, but it's not coming out, either.
Who signs first?
in THE BENGALS FORUM
Or just move him for a younger player or draft picks, because I suspect the defensive rebuild remains incomplete.
