The conversation was something like, "Chris, we're going to cut you early so you will have a good chance of being picked up elsewhere.

their isn't some dumpster dive with po-ten-shal they want to pick up until he goes on season ending IR and a full year paycheck.

This is absurd. Had the past head of officials interviewed on what he thought. All he talked about was potential fines for the Stealers. Not one mention of suspensions.Excellent catch and thanks for posting.
You can't tell me that cheap shot crap isn't coached. Happens too often with the Squeelers. Watt is a rookie and picked it up right away.
If any of those hits had been done by Burfict or Adam Jones, fines out the wazoo, suspensions and possible ejections from the game.
Of course, the Clowns just stood there and watched it happen, no attempt at retaliation or anything else.
The one with Rapeherburger is hysterical. He looks like a dog trying to hump his leg.
It looks like the ref helps him up and asks him if he is OK.

Its Time We Talk About Adam ...
He was involved in yet another moronic episode that was worth of The Big Bang Theory (which, admittedly, have never watched) or some other moronic sitcom.
I would say he was drunk, got stiffed by a prostitute (and not the way he was anticipating) and was pounding on doors in an upscale hotel downtown generally making an
ass of himself. Lots of practice.
He gets arrested, continues to make an ass of himself by being argumentative and vulgar swearing at a police officer.
Moronic, yes. But if it had been Adam Sandler rather than Adam Jones, laughable. Well, if anything Adam Sandler does is laughable but that's not the point.
Mr. Jones was vilified and publicly drawn and quartered with something that was only newsworthy because it was Adam. In the long run, no one was hurt.
He's suspended.
The Stealers week in week out deliberately try to injure other players on the field of play.
Mike Mitchell, Ryan Brazier and they even add a cheap shot artist from Cleveland.
Even Bent gets in on the act (didn't see nor the film clip).
So... Shit gets old...

Not sure how Ashley Ambrose and Deltha O'Neil got here via trade or something but they did well for awhile. One went to the pro bowl once as a Bengal.

This will be the make-or-break week for Carter. Sounds like he's gonna get some snaps in Lemurs spot rather than as a gadget rusher. The back-up Tampa QB drifted backward in the pocket right into his arms, inflating his numbers. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play more as an actual OLB for evaluation.
Regarding Margus, he looked like the coaches have been focused on having him contain the run/set the edge more than turning him loose. I think that made him look a little lazy 'cause he wasn't crashing. I still have hope for him but now agree that 2nd round was too high... He needs less Estonian and more Tazmanian to his game.
With the 53 man roster, one must always leave a little wiggle room for late cuts by other teams the Bengals will add that will bump a bubble player or two.
As far as Margus... I am a big fan and that usually does not bode well for the player. What I thought was he was pretty much a one trick pony last week. That said, he did usually end up in the Tampex Bay backfield rather than being blown off the play like some others... I don't think he's lazy or anything like that, he is simply rather stoic and does not show a lot of emotion or celebrating or whatever. One play that may have gone unnoticed was I think he was on the ground in the trash and caught the running back's ankles or calves and it not bringing him down, held him up for the rest of the D to catch up with him.
