Why would you replace Cappa instead of Volson? Also why demote the best OL they've got in favor of starting a rookie? Seems to me it'd make a lot more sense to let the rookie start at guard if they beat out Volson and then move them to C if Karras leaves in free agency next year. That's a lot of "ifs", they've got to stop writing in draft picks as starters before they're even on the team.
yeah, just throwing it out there.
And In Volson I Trust (usually a bad thing for the player)
I just imagine Volson home in Nowhere North Dakota bench pressing
locomotives while ummm... other Bengal players who shall go unnamed...
opt for selfies and photo ops.

So as of now. basically I see it as a pick ‘em between…
In no particular order, on any given Sunday and/or whichever way the wind blows …Mims, Latham, and Fuaga… all also depending on who is there. All Offensive tackles.I also really like Center/Interior Lineman Jackson Powers-Johnsona lot.Draft one of the aforementioned OTs (I personally like Mims, albeit rawer than the othersand we usually get burned on moves like that… but… can’t teach size and athleticism… and attitude)and trade up to get Powers-Johnson. Plug in for Cappa (NOT Volson) or have him play Center andKarras to OG.I am seeing this draft as crucial to the future of this team. It could be a Dynasty maker or anotherclose but no cigar year where we talk about what should have been. Again.Protecting Joe Burrow is out prime and, indeed, only objective.Tag Tee and look at wide receivers high next year to replace him when he’s gone.D line… look for cap casualties like we did when we got Hendrickson. Or look for lowerround potential and project prospects.Protect The Franchise, let everything else fall into place.- 2

Isn't Cam Sample a Lawson clone?
Close to??
I thought that was supposed to be Ossai's role.
What I remember best about Lawson was him blaming hell bent for learther
into the offensive backfield and running past the quarterback.

I hope Mixon gets arrested in the offseason and doesn't
weasel his way out of it.
Save us all a lot of trouble.

So is the towel-waving nut job a real person, or just an anagram?
I always wonder if he gets paid residuals every time they show it.
No and probably not.

And Tom Bodette even left a light on for them.

I like the Baby Cam and wonder what happened to the Growl drum team.
Actually, seriously, I want a dixieland band in straw hats in the corner of the end zone
and college marching bands at half time. Now THAT was entertainment.

A lot depends if they fall for the “not enough money” Siren song again. Whether they will keep the known/winning components, or try to go with Chuck Fizzle and Dax Hill…when they could have gone with Tyler Boyd and JBIII
Yeah, I kind of see this as a make poopie or get off the pot year.
They simply cannot keep pounding those square pegs into the round holes
and tell us Irv Smith is the next Gronk.
I don't want them to get to the 18th pick in the draft and trade down for more meh picks
when a plum or two is still on the tree "because we're Bengls, son."
I'm thinking they simply have to think out of the Bengals box.

Fuck Hype.
After last season's "Game Day Experience" and all of the Super Bowl shit it has
overshadowed what goes on on the field, a professional football game.
Now the 49ers fans are blaming the Super Bowl loss on Climate Change and Donald Trump like everything else.
I digress.
Hype Speculation... Bengals and Chiefs open the 2024 Season.
Yes, please. Humiliate the Chiefs and Taylor Swift changes sides
of the field at the end of the first quarter and goes in the the Brown/Blackburn box
wearing a 67 Volson jersey.
Just hope Joe is ready for season opener vs the Chefs and the refs.

Maybe I took it the wrong way, I was just saying this damn team needs a freaking real TE and not some piss ant rent a TE to make this team way better. See the two TEs in the SB as just two examples. I have seen mocks as pointing for the Bengals to take the best TE in the draft in the first round if he falls to them. If not him, then it better be a damn OLman. We all should be sick and tired of seeing this team fail for decades while the likes of the Chiefs rolling up Superbowls with mediocre players.
Really sorry if I offended or said something out of line. I was worried that I had really whizzed you off.
But about your post and thinking about the Bengals and tight ends...
Absolutely and could not agree more.
PFF is now projecting Brock Bowers to fall to us (doubt it) but if so, I'd be all over that.
And, other top teams have a great tight end including Cleveland and Pittsburgh in our division.
Hurst was a flash in the pan, Irv Smith a bust and I do like Drew Sample, excellent blocker and perhaps
underused as a receiver on occasion but...

I think they are going to have to knock this off season out of the park.
Fantastic and creative draft, maybe one quality free agent who is not home grown
and perhaps in the interior D line.
No more Cody Fords, Irv Smith, or Nick Scott.
They simply cannot screw around and screw it up.

Swifties all around the country googling "What's a fumble?"

Bandwagonners may.
Sois won't.
So true. Sois is hard core, bleeds orange and black.
Speaking of bandwagonners... all the kerfluffle and Danish at work all week
was about the Gen Z etc's favorite half time show. It was like they did not have
a clue a football game was going to be played.
Half time entertainment at the first Super Bowl was the University of Arizona and
Grambling marching bands. A football game and a great college marching band at
half time. Football the way God intended because He lets it be played on Sunday.
Just showed who Taylor Swift dragged into the game. Bet they have not seen three
football games in the last five years between them.
One thing... tonight I am watching "Nature Boy" on Netflix. Mini doc/bio on
The Nature Boy, Ric Flair! Woooo OOO!
P.S.
P.S.S. I did go to Hard Rock Casino this morning and put money on the Chiefs simply because
I don't want to see Chadwick have to give up McDonalds.

It was the happiest dream ever , but in the dream, I logged on to go Bengals and retired from being an NFL fan. Are y'all going to retire when Burrow wins it all next year?
Why would anyone do that?

Allen
Stroud
Herbert

All AFC QBs..
And no Lemur or Watson the Wanker.

Tag Tee
Wide receiver round one next year.
Dance with Yoshi and Charlie Crinkle this season,
maybe a mid-low draft pick or a cheap rent-a-player
one year aging free agent with some tread on the tires
and get on with it.

Exactly. It will be his third year and he should be coming into his own in a big way.
IMHO and I hope.
