Hell, they bail on the run after a series or two even if it DOES produce...

They have really only run the ball with intention when they are up in the score and running out the clock. Otherwise, they lean far too heavily on the pass, we all know that , defenses know it so Zac should also know it.

Do we know when he will be back? From what I understand he got the same injury Reader did?

Ivey was ACL I believe which is essentially the same injury as Chido (sorry cannot spoell his whole name). The two positions where ACL's are the most damaging to a career are RB and CB so we will have to see how he comes back. Every injury is unique is the counter-point.

Except I never heard Romo or the pre/post game Yakking Heads mention Joe Burrow once. If they mentioned anything, it was still Pat vs Josh.

That 3-1 stuff is cool and all for our internal enjoyment. Other than some X flyers, the big media doesn’t really sound interested.

They would be interested in we were in the playoffs, becuse we are not, there is no use for them to mention it. They have to stay in the moment as they say. Whatever the game is or possible next opponent is - those are the only relevant talking points.

I was a Jake Fisher fan. Thought it was a home run pick. Unfortunately I underestimated the effects of what playing in a spread offense does to o-linemen.

I know I sound like a broken record…but…it’s not just the Bengals that are struggling to draft good OL, the entire league is being affected.

The advent of the spread in college has completely decimated NFL OL rooms.

I agree and it is talked about a lot on Sirius NFL channel. I remember after that draft thinking 2 OL that should solidify the OL for multiple years.

And yet, Jake was drafted where he was projected. There were many draft reviews, but this one was pre-draft, so perhaps more relevant:

But the ketchup...the KETCHUP....that was the key to those two picks.

We all know the draft is a crap shoot to some level, but when we draft OL it is almost always shit hitting the fan instead.
