  1. Anybody else starting to notice that Chase is starting to become a little diva-ish? Like the attention is starting to go to his head a little?

He walks the walk, for sure, but I'm starting to notice a disturbing trend, and the TD run is a good example, He almost got caught there at the end, and there were other instances where he was jawing with the opposing players. I just hope that none of his actions cost us on the field.

Meigs County Gold! Back in my (much) younger days, there were several trips made to procure. It was along the same lines as traveling to Kansas or Texas to get Coors...most of the thrill was the venture. The product...somewhat mirage.

My brother and his buddy drove to Wyoming for vacation and picked up some Coors to bring back. They got into an accident with a local guy in rural Illinois (It was the other guy’s fault) but he was friends with the sheriff and my brother was petrified that the sheriff was going to ask him to open his trunk. Thankfully, he didn’t.

Technically the WR tag is 2 million more, but at that price it's negligible.

I agree re: Reader, I really want him around for a short term deal (thinking 3 years). I might even pay him what he is worth for that short term, but I'm not sure I do a longer deal.

I know we can only franchise tag one player, but I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to tag Reader than Higgins? Sign Higgins this year and work on a contract for Reader for the year after next.

Just a thought. Both are important to keep if we can.

    At my local bookstore

Maya Angelo, Kurt Vonnegut. Lord of the Flies, 1984, Flowers in the Attic, The Hate You Give, Gone with the Wind, Wicked, Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, Animal Farm, The Great Gatsby,....Lord of the Fucking Rings

But I'm overreacting when I say Fascism has come to America

I’m guessing most of the VC Andrews catalogue is banned if “Flowers in the Attic” is banned.

This book had just come out my senior year in high school. I attended a Catholic, all girl high school and I got in trouble for writing a book review for our school paper about it. In the words of the administration, “It wasn’t appropriate reading for young ladies.” Never mind that EVERYONE was either reading it, had read it, or was waiting to read it. So even in 1980, it was controversial. I bought the next book in the series and my mom threw it in the trash.

Amarius Mims has all you want in a RT

    except experience.

He's raw so that could drop him.

I look for his combine results to boost his stock back up.

Would the Bengals take a chance on him?

Wasn't that the chatter about Dawand Jones and why he slipped? So far he seems to be doing fine in Cleveland. Of course, he has Bill Callahan developing him.

Cleveland seems to find O linemen the way we find WRs.
