This is not a surprise.
He wasn't in their future plans.
I mentioned a while ago that if he wasn't signed last year, the Bengals weren't resigning him.
Someone will pay him WR1 money, but not the Bengals.
My bet is, the Titans, Panthers, or Bears, in that order.

Survey is from1700 players representing all 32 NFL teams.
Very surprising grades.
Bengals cafeteria food must be horrendous.
Surprised by the F on the treatment of families

This draft is top heavy with WRs who could give you Tee production on a rookie contract. Last year's draft had some good WRs, true, but they were more smallish slot guys. Higgins would have had more trade value in the 2023 draft than this one. Absolutely no way they get a top 10 draft pick this year in exchange for Higgins. Impossible dream.
This X10000.
Tennessee has to ask themselves, how bad do they want Tee Higgins.
They are in a prime spot to move into the top 3-5.
Depending on how things fall, Marvin Harrison Jr. or another stud WR might be there for them.

Trevor Lawrence and Tee teammates
at Clemson..
Maybe Jax could make an offer ..no?
I mentioned this deal last year when the Bengals didn't sign him to a long term deal.
Evan Engram would be a nice fit here, but Jax probably isn't interested in trading him.

^ CEH is also going to be a free agent from KC ... Burrow's old RB from LSU.
Uh no.
CEH can't stay healthy.
Gotta be a few more reasons why he barely sees the field in KC.

I kind of feel the same about the Safties. Battle may not have all of the physical tools that Hill does, but he knows his assignments an can put on a hit. Hill gets another year in the spot as there were times he showed something, but after having a year in the system, granted not at the safety spot, I was a bit disappointed.
Reader is done here IMHO sadly, and not because I want him to be, but because he has a year-long recovery in a contract year. We got to find at least two DTs, whether that be in FA or the Draft or a mix, well see. The 2nd one doesn't have to be a starter, but a good backup NT that can help if the 1st guy goes down or play the 2nd spot in short-yardage obvious run package.
I maybe give Cheedo a 1 year prove it deal as I am not sold on Turner yet and think we have more pressing needs than another CB draft pick.
The concern I have but need more data to determine is are we good at drafting defensive players?
Murphy is coming on but still a wait and see.
Battle same as Murphy, but produced a tad bit more.
Turner had a good start to his season, but got picked on and was pretty bad at the end of it. (You would hope it would have been the opposite)
Zack Carter is a JAG
Ossai, had a good 1st year but has been a ghost this season. Did his mistake in the AFC Championship get that much into his head?
Cam Sample is better than Carter, but still mostly a JAG.
That leaves us with just Cam Taylor-Britt, who while good, would be a number 2 CB in a top end defense.
Chidobe has lost a step and a half.
He might be better a safety than CB now.
Turner's technique is horrible, and hopefully can be fixed in the off season

Jonah Williams is about as useless as one chopstick 🫤

This is what happens when you play 95% of the plays in shotgun.
The plays become predictable for the defense.

From my untrained eyes, it seems as if the DBs are playing much better and understanding the schemes and their assignments.
Besides the 30 yard pass play to Pittman, they held everyone else in check.

He's not lying.
34 points and no WR seeing the end zone is an eyebrow raiser for sure

Good to see.
Still not sold on his play but there's hope
He is a far better run blocker than he is a pass blocker.
He is built to move forward, not backward.
Same with Jackson Carman.

It seems to open things up a bit more in my opinion

How has this defense gotten this bad this quickly?
Two things.
The league has figured out Lou and the rookies on the back end learning on the job.
Also Awuzie looks done.

That was an impressive drive

Their best bet is to lose out.
Next year they would play all other 4th place teams and the NFC East.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Just doing a quick glance at that schedule, I put them around 11-12 wins (barring any major injury)

Go back and watch the Buffalo playoff game. Bengals haven't run the ball that well since that game. Coincidence?

Maybe compare apples to apples/
Andrew Whitworth was a second round offensive lineman pick
Jackson Carman was a second round offensive lineman pick.
We're still waiting for him to come around.
Just sayin'
Besides, it won't happen.
I believe both Carman and Cordell Volson aren't bad linemen.
They are just in the wrong blocking scheme.
Both are power run blockers.
Neither are what I would call great pass protectors.

He will be tagged.
Trade scenario prediction: Patriots.
He agent won't let him sign to a team with an unstable QB.
The Patriots are picking in the top 5.
They are not giving up a 1st or 2nd for Tee.
And he is worth more than a 3rd.

He is easily worth a first round pick no way we let him walk the least us the franchise tag and a trade
Franchise tag for WR will be about 20 million.
And Ja'Marr's deal in next.
Just don't see the Bengals using it on him.
No team is going to give up 2 1st rounders either if we tag him.

He might not play another game in stripes.
Bengals aren't going to use the franchise tag him either.
He will walk and they will be awarded a compensatory pick (probably a 3rd rounder).
Likely destination will probably be the Titans, Panthers, Broncos, or Giants.
I used to think the Jaguars had the best shot, but their WR group is playing well right now.

He's not very accurate though, at least not on his deeper passes
Not at all.
Seemed like he was putting too much air in them.

Going to make Sunday's Stains v Squeels game more interesting.
Should be a ax fight.
I might even watch it.
Yep.
The AFC North will be a war of attrition.
It's literally going to be the last team standing.

How many times did Burrow take a snap from under the center?
It had to be less than 10.
To me, it seems the offense runs a lot better when he is under center.
Very little play action, and misdirection plays were called yesterday.
