Risers

Ohio State OLB A.J. Hawk could go off the board earlier than anticipated. Some theorize that if the Saints aren't able to drop down a few spots, they might take Hawk with the second overall pick.

Iowa OLB Chad Greenway is making a late run. The two-time All-American is winning teams over with consistent play.

Southern California SS Darnell Bing is earning increased interest among teams in the late portion of the first round.

Virginia Tech DE Darryl Tapp is getting more interest despite lacking preferred size. He has good burst off the snap and plays with intensity.

Fallers

Ohio State OLB Bobby Carpenter is well regarded for his heady, physical play, but some teams are concerned with his consistency. With Hawk on the other side, some theorize Carpenter took advantage of a lack of attention from opponents.

Florida State CB Antonio Cromartie seems to be losing favor. Although scouts are enamored with his size and speed, medical concerns remain amid his recovery from a torn ACL.

Since he had a lackluster junior season, some teams wonder if Southern California G Taitusi Lutui will lose the drive that made him so successful as a senior once the paychecks start.

Workout watch

The Jets have private workouts with the top three quarterbacks the next 10 days. While the smart money remains on Matt Leinart, a strong workout by Vince Young or Jay Cutler could shake up the top of the draft.
dude, if we can get KO in the 2nd, I would crap my pants.

I'd say him being projected that low by some rustabouts is a good thing
I'd rather have Bullocks, but both would be great pickups in the second round.
