According to John Fays blog:

Lots of it. Jery Narron and Wayne Krivsky just announced the following:

--Chris Denorfia needs "Tommy John" surgery.

--Bobby Livingston and and Gary Majewski were optioned to Louisville.

--Jeff Keppinger, Bill Bray and Elizardo Ramirez go on the DL and will rehab in the Floirda.

--Jerry Gil, Denorfia and Eddie Guardado go on the DL and come north with the team.

--Either Matt Belisle or Kirk Saarloos will be the fifth starter.

--The last position player will be Norris Hopper or Chad Moeller.

--The last relief positions will go to a two of these three: Victos Santos, Jon Courlangus or Jared Burton.
I would like to see Burton make the team because he can be another strike out guy that the Reds need in the bullpen.
Coutlangus looks like he may be a better option than Shackelford, but I think they already have like 2 or 3 other lefties.

Its going to be interesting to see what they do to the bullpen when guys like Majewski, Bray and Guardado are ready to return. Guardado probably wont be ready till late in the season, so the rosters will probably be expanded by then.
Denorfia to undergo surgery
Outfielder sidelined for six months by torn elbow ligament
By Mark Sheldon / MLB.com

SARASOTA, Fla. -- A surprise development on Thursday carried big ramifications for the makeup of the Reds' 25-man roster.
Outfielder Chris Denorfia was diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. Denorfia, 26, will have Tommy John reconstruction surgery, general manager Wayne Krivsky revealed.

Originally, Denorfia was thought to have a strained forearm that wasn't considered serious. He felt pain after he made a throw from left field on Friday against the Devil Rays in St. Petersburg, Fla.

When the pain continued to linger, team medical director Dr. Tim Kremchek and head trainer Mark Mann recommended an MRI exam on Wednesday.

"Our worst fears were realized," Krivsky said. "His pain went more from the forearm to closer to the elbow. It was a very smart thing for us to do [the MRI] so we could find out what it is. Unfortunately for everybody, it's a serious injury."

Denorfia will go on the disabled list and will be out for at least six months. Kremchek is expected to perform the operation on Tuesday in Cincinnati.

"We know what kind of worker Deno is and that he'll get back to where he was," Krivsky said.

Denorfia was batting .264 (14-for-53) in 20 games this spring and was a finalist for the final bench spot on Cincinnati's 25-man roster. His injury leaves outfielder Norris Hopper and catcher Chad Moeller left in the running to be the 25th man.

Hopper has not played since March 19 because of a bruised right heel. He was expected to hit and workout on Thursday.

Last season, Denorfia batted .283 in 49 games over four callups with the Reds. He batted .349 in 83 games with Triple-A Louisville.

The Reds made several other roster moves on Thursday, working their way down to 28 active players. Reliever Gary Majewski and fifth-starter candidate Bobby Livingston were optioned to Louisville. Infielder Jeff Keppinger (broken finger), pitcher Elizardo Ramirez (sore right shoulder) and lefty reliever Bill Bray (bruised fingertip) will be placed on the disabled list and remain in Sarasota for extended Spring Training.

Infielder Jerry Gil will also go on the DL with a sore right elbow. Lefty closer Eddie Guardado, who is still rehabilitating from Tommy John surgery, will go on the 60-day disabled list. Gil and Guardado will go with the club when it breaks camp for Cincinnati.
Majewski hardly pitched because his arm doesnt have the strength it needs yet. He will go to the minors and work up his arm strength and then pitch down there a while and come up and give us a fresh arm when we could use one.

The pen will be fine without Bray and get even better when he comes back.

Livingston will be the first SP up when we need one.
