5. I think Ludwick might be the last FA signing (besides Hallahan and maybe one other bench player). Unless an "unbelievable one-sided offer that Jocketty can't refuse offer" pops up, moneywise, we are done.

 9. "Just don't implode...make it to the post season" I knew this team could at least play .500 ball this year. They have already exceeded that expectation and are 20 games over as of today. But since they have played great since May, they need to make it to the post season. This team had a lot of questions at the beginning of the year (and still have a few). They look good and ready for next year. If Jocketty can keep the core of the team together and add those last remaining pieces, the sky is the limit next year. This year has been fun and it would be good for them to end it on a bright note. Having both professional teams get back to the playoffs in the same year would be freaking awesome!
 10.
Yamaha smokes both Peniseer (as we used to call them) and Sony. By a mile. Dollar for dollar, you might look like you're getting more power from the other two, but the amp quality and sound quality of the Yamaha would smoke the crap out of them. The only reason I would consider Sony or Pioneer over Yamaha for a receiver is if there was an absolute must that you needed in terms of connectivity (# of HDMI connections, etc) and the Yamaha with those specs was out of reach. And even then, I'd likely tell you to save your money until you could afford the better option. As for your question GO, If you get that Samsung system, you're likely only going to need a single HDMI to connect to your TV. The problem I see with it immediately is this, however. It offers limited inputs for connecting outside components. No HDMI inputs, no composite inputs. But it does offer two optical and one standard audio input. So, I guess you could potentially run your audio feed from your XBOX straight into the system, and run the video to the TV. Or, better yet, your TV likely has an audio out that you could run to the system, and you could connect your XBOX to the TV via HDMI. You won't get digital sound (unless your TV has a toslink out, which I highly doubt) but you will be able to switch what audio is playing through the surround sound simply by changing the input on your TV. So this seems like the way to go, imo.
Totally agree with the Peniseer, lol An all-in-one will work, but Go, do you plan on adding anything additional to this area anytime soon (satellite radio, Tivo, media player (from your computer)? An all-in-one typically doesn't allow any room for add-ons.
 11. Your best bet is to not get an "all-in-one" system. The majority of those systems aren't going to give you what you want. You should get the receiver that best fits what you want to do. Possible one of these by Yamaha (a basic system)My link, a better system by Panasonic My link or a more advanced system by Sony My link. Then, go for a speaker system. You'll definitely get more "bang" for the buck.
