Guest mongoloido
Thanks Mongoloido....I followed all instructions...looks like it got rid of most but there is still like 3-4 hanging on... I may try to go thru it again tonight...it's much better than it was...seems like once I close out the ones I'm getting, they don't come back anymore...all the scans seemed to go well with nothing major that couldn't be fixed or deleted...maybe these new ads have definitions that aren't covered in any of these programs... it definately helped!!! p.s. I couldn't afford a Mac, scales...I work on mac at work and I've been a Mac baby my entire career but I needed a new computer at home and PC is all I could get....(afford) for what I needed to do.... I don't mind PC, I can live with either but I never had the headaches like this with my Mac... THANKS ONCE AGAIN GUYS! [post="87032"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
If you're up for it, go back to that thread and download hijackthis. Follow the instructions for installation (install it into it's own folder on your C: drive. Don't install it to your desktop or anything like that). Close all programs, perform the scan and save a logfile option, then copy and paste the results here. I'd be more than happy to look it over, see what's wrong, and help you get rid of this stuff. Guest BengalsOwn
Look in Control Panel, Add/Remove programs. The spyware programs are usually pretty obvious to recognize. If you see any search bar programs, or anything that is obviously something you do not want on your computer, click on remove.
