This feels like we are trying to polish a turd with this guy. Pray we can find a good one in the draft then we won't need someone with a shit injury history to count on starting for more than a little while.

That's all fine and stuff for him to request a trade - but it depends on what offers they get. I would expect at a minimum a first round pick plus another higher end pick at some point.

I think he's OK - def not worth what he's getting paid. his upgrade is not on the roster, so we'd have to fill both interior positions if Reader is not back. But I don't think it's a stretch at all to say we can do better at his spot.

Did I miss a change with Franchise Tag? Used to be it was an automatic 1st and 3rd round pick, correct?
Personally I think tag and trade is the best option, but I don't think anyone is going to give up that much for Tee.

I am often wrong. But I'm taking a hatchet to a portion of this roster.
I agree with @claptonrocks - you cannot tie up that much money with a QB and 2 receivers - and Ja'marr Chase cannot go anywhere else - I think after all is settled, we will pay him more than we probably estimate right now. If you can get picks for Tee, then you have to take them and use that money for other areas.
Mixon - gone. BJ Hill - gone. Reader - not re-signed. Scott - gone. Really go after revamping the D-Line.

That's why it just doesn't make sense to me. It's bad enough tying up all that money with a QB and one receiver (Chase). Which we HAVE to do, you cannot let Chase leave.
So many holes... been discussed to death, but what do you do at RT / LG? Hell even Cappa looked a little sketch to me sometimes.
D-line of course - can't see it making sense to bring Reader back, so now you have 2 problems - didn't have a great interior push with Reader, now we have less.
LB's need to be addressed - Pratt looked like he got paid and mailed it in, and Wilson looks slow.
Too much for my feeble brain... glad I don't have that job.
