Historically, the Bengals usually draft best on Day 2. It's their specialty.

Night 1 of the draft gets most of the hype, but the good teams usually build their teams on night 2.

Every pick until 49 I'm going to be worried about hearing Tate Ratledge's name ...- *** [RD 1] Bengals Select ~ SHEMAR STEWART, DE ***

@GoBengals you might be interested in bidding on this for your collection.- Rounds 2 & 3 - Draft Night Thread (2025)
Last night of the 32 picks 15 came from the SEC and 11 from the Big 10. 26/32. Tonight you will see more guys from other lesser conferences, but as for me I would stay in the 2 big boy conferences if possible.- Rounds 2 & 3 - Draft Night Thread (2025)

There's so many good players that will go in Rounds 2 and 3 it makes me think the Bengals should trade picks from next year to get at least one more. The window is now and a 2 this year is usually a late 1 in other years.- *** [RD 1] Bengals Select ~ SHEMAR STEWART, DE ***
I'm one of the biggest critics of Myles Murphy and never wanted him drafted. But I think the comparisons of Stewart as a Murphy 2.0 are way off. Stewart is way more athletic and violent. And more importantly, Murphy has always struck me as timid, soft, and low testosterone without a killer instinct. Football seems like a job to him. Whereas Stewart to me has a energy and fire and plays like someone who loves football and likes to hit and hurt people. There's also a bravado and confidence when Stewart speaks that Murphy lacks. This is the difference between a dog show dalmatian (MM) and a junkyard rottweiler (SS) to me. And this defense needs more nasty.- *** [RD 1] Bengals Select ~ SHEMAR STEWART, DE ***
