Maybe it's just me but it seemed like the defense had no answer for the Texans offense.
Which is weird because Carolina and Atlanta both held the Texans to under 20 points.

Letting a journeyman RB torch the defense for 150 yards is more concerning.
The Texans used max protection for Stroud all game and he continued to find WIDE OPEN receivers when he needed to.
Not having a spy on him on his TD run was another huge mistake.
Lou A. underestimated Stroud ability to read defenses and paid dearly for it.

There's a counterintuitive case to be made that Burrow with more of a supporting cast could be even more dangerous -- as he would then be equally looking everywhere, rather then trying to "feed his guy" as he referred to Tee last week.
Glad you mentioned this.
Burrow has hit 6 different receivers for TDs this year.
When they are in the red zone, he is no longer only looking for Ja'Marr.
This makes the Bengals EXTREMELY difficult to defend now.
TEs in the game no longer indicate a running play.
Throw in Yoshi, who has the size of a TE, and it becomes an even bigger problem.

Team is too focused to fall for the trap game.
Also, I'd sit Ja'Marr and have him ready for the Ravens game on a short week.
Our new 3 headed TE monster should give the Ravens a few problems.
I'd also take our 4th and 5th receivers over any nickel and dime backs in the league

Marvin can take Hue back to the Raiders too
That would not be a bad idea.
Raiders have some pieces in place.
Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, and the criminally underrated Hunter Renfrow.

^ Raiders should bring Gruden back imo.
His offenses didn't warrant a lifetime ban and he's "served" his time.
Roger Goodell might have a thing or two to say about this.
That whole email scandal is still lingering out there

Buffalo has been inconsistent, yes... seems like Josh Allen has been putting the ball more in harm's way than before... but he's got weapons for sure. Allen can run and he's got a huge arm. Diggs is great, and recently Dalton Kincaid (TE) has been showing up. He's a good receiving TE who runs well. Dawson Knox is a talent, too. James Cook is a good all-purpose runner.
Defensively, Bills miss Matt Milano but they have some talented rushers like Leonard Floyd, Greg Rousseau - and Von Miller is back playing too. DL is tough to move inside witrh Oliver and Phiillips. Bernard and Edmunds are good LBs and they have some experienced vets at S.
I think they're vulnerable at corner, even with Rasul Douglas on the roster via trade today. They are smart and experienced at S, but they are old and I think with speed, you can make some explosive plays... if Joe gets decent protection.
Should be a fun game. I look for a Bengals' win, especially playing at home... but Bills are good, and it'll be a challenge.
I believe Dawson Knox is on IR.

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but Marvin Lewis would be the perfect coach for the Raiders.
Raiders lack discipline.

Watson has a cap hit of 64$ million for the next 3 seasons, the Browns can't realistically get out this contract until 2027 without a significant cap hit and dead money on their books...the Browns are stuck with guy, so they might as well play the long game.
It weird that is his coach keeps throwing him under the bus to the media tho because it's far easier to get rid of the coach than the QB with the worst contract in pro sports that literally no other team will trade for because of his contract.

His legs should be "Fresh out of the oven" fresh
Busken Bakery fresh.
I think he has the longest active streak for starting RBs without a 100 yard rushing game

The Niner's defense has been exposed. If Cousins was able to shred their secondary just imagine what Burrow can do. And San Francisco isn't a team that does well coming from behind. Under Shanahan SF is 0-36 when behind by 8+ in the fourth qtr. They have to be up and by double digits. When it gets tough Kyle isn't as brilliant. And factor into that he has, basically, a rookie QB, who is very talented but has struggled in his last two outings against physical teams. The sort of teams that Cincy mirrors but with a bit more firepower on offense.
This is a winnable game for both teams so I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to the wire like San's last two games.
Now he is about to see more exotic coverages and schemes that he hasn't seen before.
Lou about to throw the kitchen sink at him.

The line is currently 5.5 or 6 points and Vegas was built on people thinking like this, definitely not easy money. The Niners have a better HC, defense, and run game plus they are playing at home. The Bengals can win but this a bad matchup for the Bengals as the Niners pass rush will be putting pressure on Burrow and the Bengals offense is already one dimensional so they aren't going to be worried about stopping the run. Hopefully, Mixon will be excited to return back to the Yay Area(E-40 voice) and have his best game this season...you smell me!
Hmm, I don't know about that.
SF likes to portray themselves as physical, until they play a physical team (see Cleveland).
The Vikings aren't know to have the strongest OL, and yet SF didn't get one sack on him.
If they go sackless against JB, we win easily.
Their DBs are the weakest link, and can be exploited IF Burrow gets a little time to throw.

Not too many CBs in the league that can handle D.K. "Omni-Man" Metcalf without any help.
Glad CTB is finally getting his due recognition.

It wasn't pretty but it was a win.
I thought Burrow should have targeted Boyd and Yoshi more often.
Seahawks wasn't going to let Chase beat them

Thanks for the tips.
I'll remember them during my next visit to Paycor.

I'll chalk it up as a lot of people were there outside the stadium to experience the "White Out" and the Monday Night experience..
But man, it was dangerously overcrowded.
I've been to football games at Texas A&M, that seat well over 100,000, and it wasn't nearly as bad as it was at Paycor on that Monday night.

Wife and I attended the Monday game and we were surprised on how long it took to exit the stadium.
We were seated in section 128, and it took at least 45 minutes before we reached 3rd Street.
Is this normal, or was it due to the game being on Monday night?

If Arizona jumps out to a 10 point lead or greater, the Bengals have no shot of making a winning.
If us common fans can see the limited mobility of JB, what do you think the opposing coaches are seeing on film?

Can't scheme when your playbook is damn near cut in half due to his limited mobility.
I think JB has only taken a handful of snaps from under center this year.
He can't throw deep, even when there are 8 in the box and his receivers have single man coverage.
Everyone knows this.

That Chubb hit was nasty.
Reminded me when Willis MacGhee got his knee shredded vs. Ohio State

Will be my 2nd time at GABP, the last time was the Sunday before we had that Monday Night game against the Ravens, 2nd time at PBS/Paycor too. I'll be by myself for that one since he has to work, think Ill meet up with @GoBengals but not sure if he got his ticket or not yet for the Reds game.
I bet your nephew will love that.
It will be my 2nd time at PBS/Paycor.
First time was when the infamous Corey Dillion threw his pads in the stands.

How many times did Burrow take a snap from under the center?
It had to be less than 10.
To me, it seems the offense runs a lot better when he is under center.
Very little play action, and misdirection plays were called yesterday.
