JBandJoeyV Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Alright, the game was way over by this point...it was 4th and 3 and carson had just missed chad with a pass and we were on our own like 30 or something around that....but why give up, why punt the ball??? It was 4th and fucking 3, its not like it would matter if the steelers got good field position...then they punt it and start calling timeouts on defense, i just thought that was stupid as hell.... on a good note we finally did a qb sneak on 3rd or 4th and inches Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

These bastards could definitely use it. Maybe he didn't want to miss and give up even more points. Who knows. By the way we were playing by that point in the game, you really can't argue with that call. Although, I too probably would have gone for it. If the offense is going to keep playing it's starters, and have Palmer risk his body with that draw for the TD, then they shouldn't have quit on 4th and 3.
