at pretty much any cost, agreed. He gets no talk cuz he is in Florida, but he is a fuckin superstar in the making. And his defense is avg at 3B and he can go to the OF where he has a monster arm when we want to give an OF a day off and put Castro at 3B to be our vacuum.

Yes he did.

In the Reds 4–3 win over the Giants, Pete Rose knocks in the winning run on an attempted intentional walk. On a 3–0 count, Giants pitcher Ron Bryant comes close to the plate with ball four and Rose drives it on the ground and reaches base on an error.

Someone should email them.

I was watching the game when it happened. Actually I thought he was an ass for doing it.

Still do.

I also remember a game when the count was like 2-2 on Bench. I'm pretty sure it was a playoff game against the Pirates. Could be wrong.

Anyway, the catcher (maybe Sanguillen?) went to the mound, maybe the manager too. When the catcher came back behind the plate he stood up and held his right arm out, indicating an intentional walk. Bench relaxed, the catcher ducked in behind the plate and the pitcher threw strike three.

Fuckers. <_<

And Pete was on 700 last night and he said it was an error so ESPN was right.
