-GoBengals- Posted September 2, 2007 Report Share Posted September 2, 2007 I am looking at the canon 75-300 III lens. there is a USM ultrasonic motor and a DC the DC is cheaper. but googling all i can find is that the USM is just quieter and faster perhaps.. any have personal experience with both? the ebay for brand new price difference seems to be $50-75 difference. so its not a huge deal..but i dont wanna waste the money if i dont have to.
