I have a Canon Powershot sd600 that works really well (the CDHK support is coming in the next few weeks...I can't wait for motion-sensing shots and long exposure shots).

I have a Canon P&S that's about two years old or so, and it's been great.

Before that I had a Casio Exilim. Was a terrific size - easily pocketed, which I loved with all the travelling I was doing at the time. Took great pics, too.. but then one day it just stopped taking pics. I'm still torn as to whether or not I'd buy another one. It was terrific while it lasted.

Haven't tried to haxor either, so I've no info to share on that. I might try to follow the article above though, and see if I have any luck getting some more out of my Canon. Though since I just bought a Nikon DSLR, I've been spending most of my time taking pics with it, recently.
