EnglishBengal
Just reading on NFL.com that the Jags are no closer to signing Munroe than we are Smith. I know Smith is slotted and all, but Munroe being an OT and all, how would it affect our ability to sign Smith quickly if Munroe's holdout becomes lengthy. Remember Derrick Harvey last year! dex
I do think Monroe is big for slotting; the same for 4th pick Aaron Curry, who's the first non QB ahead of Andre in the draft. For weeks we've heard that the biggest holdup for 1st round contracts is Crabtree, who's agent is supposedly demanding 3rd pick money. And if you look all around Crabtree in the 1st round, that's where most of the contract logjams are. Don't know if Crabtree is affecting contracts all the way up to the third pick or not, but that's the first holdout at the top of the draft. The only non-QB signed from 3-13 or so is Heywood-Bey, I think. Nearly everyone else in the first round is already in.
ColorChanginClique
I'm not that worried honestly, even if he holds out too long and gets too far behind, I think Anthony Collins is very capable at either tackle spot. Looked pretty good last year when he had to play at LT. Is he the one getting the #1 reps at the RT spot in camp now? If not who is?
