Arkansas Bengal
Dave Clark, Cincinnati Enquirer Thu, Nov 2, 2023, 1:08 AM CDT·1 min read Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow escapes a tackle against the San Francisco 49ers during the first quarter Sunday's 31-17 win against the 49ers in San Francisco seems to have convinced a lot of people that Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are "back" after a shaky start to the 2023 season. Burrow's accuracy was impressive, as he broke his own personal record for consecutive completions on the way to completing 28 of his 32 attempts for three touchdowns and no interceptions. But it was early in the game after consecutive incompletions that Burrow faced a 3rd-and-10 at the Bengals' 31 on their fifth play of their opening drive, and left fans shaking their heads in disbelief. Burrow dropped back to pass and couldn't find a receiver, and it looked like he'd be swallowed up by the Niners' pass rush. He escaped the grasp of Arik Armstead and gave his good friend Nick Bosa a stiff-arm to avoid another sack before running toward the sideline and looking up to find receiver Tee Higgins. Burrow was hit as he threw a perfect pass to Higgins, who had a defender draped all over him. "Don't sleep on @JoeyB 's wheels," @NFL tweeted, with Burrow and others mic'd up in the video: "I didn't know you could run like that, dog," Niners tight end George Kittle told Burrow afterward. "Amazing what happens when you're not injured," Burrow replied. https://sports.yahoo.com/amazing-happens-youre-not-injured-060802248.html
