Yes. But for only 2 games. Both Monday nights, Rams and Jags. The NFL allows you to deviate from your usual uniform 3 times a season and have 4 jerseys total. The Bengals are doing 2 white tiger games and one orange jersey game. They essentially eliminated their retro jersey and added nothing --- as now the primary white is counted as both the 2nd jersey (with orange helmet) and the 4th jersey when it goes with the white helmet.

I would put Paul Brown on the Mount Rushmore of the NFL. The NFL owes more to him than perhaps any other innovating mind. But to me, those talents are less of him as a Bengals coach and more related him as a pioneer of the game itself. Which is why I voted for Sam still.

... That's a terrible idea. The Bengals have options and there are other cities that would gladly give them whatever they want. NFL franchises are so coveted that it comes down to --> "Do you want to pay for the luxury of having one? No, ok then someone else will."

The best I think the team could hope for without Burrow would be .500 ... Which might be possible depending on the opponents. For instance, I think they can likely win week 1 without Burrow (Clowns) but am much less confident for week 2 against the Ravens.

You could also do an 'Owner' poll as well (father vs son), to ensure his place on the roster 😉

I agree tbh, and would take Ja'Marr if asked to choose. But for the purposes of this ranking, I deferred to Justin just barely based on the discrepancy in stats. I actually knocked Jefferson down (on their list) from 2 to 7 and Chase up from 39 to 8, to get them side by side (as I think they're essentially almost equal).

So I would hate for him to jeopardize that. Plus I want him to use his leverage to force the front office's hand, as I believe him, Burrow, and Chase are the indispensable pieces to the dynasty that's forming.

I meant the 2nd white is wasted on the Jags, and the only orange is wasted on the Squeelers. I am ok with the White Bengal against the Rams. To me that's one of the 3 marquee games of the year (SB revenge). Alongside the Chiefs and Bills.

^ It feels like the orange jersey is an afterthought now with White Bengal, which is unfortunate, as it's the only one that matches the main helmet. I guess the question becomes, is it better to keep the orange or replace it with a retro?
