Guest ThurmanMunster Posted January 14, 2006 Report Share Posted January 14, 2006 i downloaded their most recent version of firefox and instead of having a normal sized window to view the websites there is like a 1.5 inch blank space at the bottom and i have NO clue why...does anyone else have this problem? I've donwloaded the newest one and havent had that problem. It's a long shot.. but try hitting F11. It puts the screen in full screen when surfing.. DanvilleBengal Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 I have to agree with Thurman here. go back to 1.0. 1.5 was nothing but a way to fix some bugs. I would wait until Mozilla have come out with a new version of Firefox before you upgrade, preferably 2.0. slightly off-topic, but I love using Firefox now. I don't think that I can go back to using IE anymore, and I got both browsers on my PC now. My favorite feature is the tabs, you don't have to open up a new window to see a different page. Also, it seems that everything loads so much quicker than on IE. This browser is actually built according to international standards, and I have been pleased with its performance. I just got it around a month ago. How did all of you find out about Firefox? i found out from some of my computer geek friends that really have a hatred for anything that is assosciated with Microsoft. Guest ThurmanMunster Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 um, my g/fs dad has used it for al ong time and told me about it, IE is too virus and spyware filled becuase its shitty as fuck and the Tabs feature is like sex on my computer minus the porn...i can do so much, so much quicker with the tabs.
