It bothers me deeply when Christians forget what the teachings of Christ are about. I had a good conversation with a former pastor/current evangelist friend of mine last night who is run down by how the Church is nothing more than a business these days, and some of the hypocrisy that goes on. He’s at the point where he’s not sure that he wants to even go into a church for evangelizing any more, that troubles me.

I know a lot of you don’t care for this stuff, and I can understand why. However I honestly believe this kind of stuff to be part of Satan’s plan to turn people off from it.

Just my 2 cents. Sorry for the rant.

Also, I see that they picketed the gay man that was murdered. Even if you think that homosexuality is wrong, why would you go picket the man that was murdered? What does that solve? If you believe that the people are going to hell, then why do you have to rub it in the faces of their family/friends?

And this only feeds people like BJ, who think that all religious people fall under this category. Sorry, but they are giving others a bad rep. My wife just told me to never take her to Kansas. She now assumes everyone in Kansas is like this also. I would like to think they are not, but oh well.

Christ loved the poor and said turn the other cheek. These folks would protest such a thing. I say we let these people get the fuck out of the country if they hate it so badly (and the HATE the country. People who protest the Administration or the War itself LOVE the country.
