Guest LeakyBengal
Five-star prospect DeAndre Liggins was one of the hottest prospects coming out of the spring evaluation period. New Kentucky coach Billie Gillispie made the 6-foot-5, 190-pound point guard from Chicago (Ill.) Washington High School a priority, and the 2008 recruiting drought is over for the Wildcats. The mother of five-star Chicago (Ill.) Washington point guard DeAndre Liggins tells CatsPause.com that her son has decided to play for Billy Gillispie at Kentucky. per catspause. freaking awesome. |Bunghole|
That's great news! It is amazing the energetic shot in the arm Gillespie has given the UK program from a recruiting standpoint. All the people who bashed UK for letting Tubby go have to ask themselves "Would Tubby have gotten ANY of the recruits that Gillespie has garnered so far?" scharm
Kentucky fans should just accept that college basketball has changed and shouldn't expect to grab top players. Signed, Every program tried of getting their ass kicked for 100+ years in basketball.

Recently under Tubby, we haven't. Now it seems, we do again. The UK cycle has come 'round again.

You know they've read this thread, like the countless other threads that they've tried to ruin. Where are they now? Where will they be when UK is back in the top 10 again, winning the SEC? No where of course. They'll sit in the back ground stroking they're pity party only coming forward when something wrong happens. Get over yourselves.... Until then, I'll be here force feeding the crow. Onto the subject at hand, Billy has done a phenominal job recruiting this year. With such a short time, and almost no contact with these recruits from UK prior to his signing he's done so much. You couldn't dream of a better start to hopefully a long and title filled career...
