I have been to Dachau

I know they have monuments, all to the victims.

I dont think they have monuments to the soldiers that fought for their country is what Im saying.

this memorial is rather discreet compared with many of the holocaust memorials. It was on top of a mountain in Austria near the German border.

BTW, in German what's on the plaque is poetry...well, it rhymes, anyway.

its been years though man.

i know enough to speak simple sentence. I could get by if need be, but its been 12 years since i took it and my career went in a different direction.

my goal was originally to major in history with a minor in german, and teach.

oh well

I found the Victory museum in Europe to be very good, i also did a 5 day battle study in 1992 with a well known Historian on the battle of the Bulg, the guy could tell you who was in certain fox holes with certain companys....
