bengalrick
I just read this too, and find in hard to believe, but would absolutely LOVE this deal!!! The Rockies are still willing to trade Brian Fuentes, but only for a young starter who could immediately step into their rotation, according to the Rocky Mountain News. They were reportedly turned down by the Marlins when they offered Fuentes for Anibal Sanchez. If the Rockies don't find a starter for Fuentes, they might complete a deal that would net them Josh Fogg from the Reds. Like i said, this sounds too good to be true... bengalrick
fuentes is a left handed closer whereas fogg is a 5th starter/long relief man... this is a no brainer in my eyes...
ThurmanMunster
did you guys read that? it doesnt say Fuentes for Fogg. It says if they cant get a young SP for Fuentes then they will complete a deal for Fogg. If the Rockies don't find a starter for Fuentes, they might complete a deal that would net them Josh Fogg from the Reds.
