-GoBengals- Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 I was looking at the Samsung CLP 315 seems like a good price... all of the negative feedback i could find was DOA's and an odor, i epect an odor with a color laser warming up and such so no issues there and DOA shit happens... its got 4 of 5 eggs on newegg.com my main purpose would be just printing invoices receipts and maybe a pricing sheet or proposal... I will keep an inkjet i think for pics if needed, but i want to do 99% of printing from the laser.. for cost reasons... anyone used a samsung color laser before or have any opinions on a good one or quality brand? I am also gonna grab a Dymo DiscPainter for on disc printing since it seems Print CD from epson isnt supported for mac..so i have to launch Fusion and XP to print on disc... and being a geek id rather spend $220 than have to open a programs all the time.. sheesh... anyone had experience with these? The Entertainer Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 I just picked up the CLP 315 last week. Good little printer for a great price. I use it for one of my businesses. It prints fairly fast and the quality is excellent. Plus the replacement cartridges are some of the cheapest out there (color is $51.99 and the black is $55.99 if bought at the store). I am also looking at the Brother printer that was in the past weeks Staples ad. Seems good too, but I have little experience with Brother printers (had several Brother faxes that were worthless).
