[post="120224"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
yeah, it doesn't seem like there are huge changes... much better look though.. i did like the new search features.. i have google desktop on my computer b/c the old search on windows blew pretty bad... but of coarse, i'll let everyone else buy it and find the problems before i upgrade xp... it has been pretty good to me...
Guest bengalrick Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 oh yeah, supposidely the "blue screen of death" is actually going to be red now:
Jamie_B Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Most of the changes are under the hood, however im a bit dissapointed they arent going to the new WinFS file system.
Guest mongoloido Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 nice bsod longhorn/vista should be pretty cool, but yeah jamie, they've cut out some of the really cool stuff. apparently, a lot of the fun features will wind up being released for xp as well. my guess is that you really won't bother upgrading to vista until you purchase a new computer a year or so from now.

Jason Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I'm sure it will crash just the same as every other Windows program. Tiger is the way to go!

Which is exactly what I would have done anyway. Just saves me the trouble.

Eh... doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
