Bit Lord

Recommended Posts

I have last week's game of the Bengals vs Pats and plan on recording the one tonight against the skins.

The files are large (using MS Media Center), but are viewable with Windows Media Player.

Anyway, I am trying to share them with others and I am having trouble. I am using Bit Lord and can create the torrent, but can't seem to allow other people to download the file. Is there anything I need to do besides create the torrent?

Otherwise, I can put the file in my shared folder of Limewire. Searching for that shouldn't be too bad.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or you are interested in having the game files, just reply or PM me.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I even went through and turned off my norton internet worm protection, port forwarded the ports that the website says to, all that jazz. Nothing, still.

fuck all this bittorent type shit. How big is the file?

using a site that i use often, you can upp a file up to 1 GB onto the net for anyone to download. its called yousendit.com. Thing is, though, its meant for you to be emailing the file to someone, but you can just enter your email address into the box, and have them email the link to the file to yourself when its done. The catch, though, is that the file will be up until 25 people have downloaded it, or until its been up for a whole week.

Another site you can use is megaupload.com. You can only up a file up to 250 mb, but it can be downloaded an infinite amount of times. also, it tells you the link you can give to people after it's upped, so you dont have to worry about them e-mailing the link or anything to you.

If you can find a host that allows up to 6GB, let me know. It looks like limewire doesn't support the file type media center records in. Damn them!!!

I'm still working on a way to share these game files....gotta figure it out before the real season starts!

I think I understand the problem. It's not enough to create a torrent, you need to actually post it with a tracker, which organizes the connections between peers. We need to either go to a public tracker to have it host the torrent, or convince Go to set up a tracker. Currently, your tracker url is udp://tracker.bitcomet.net:8080/announce, which is a dead link. We need to find a tracker to upload torrents to (I think. still learning this stuff).

to shair a torrent you need to use a program like Make Torrent, then have a tracker site to host the torrent on

I have all of the games as avi and mpg files in HD and they are about 2GB each I was thinking of hosting them on my torrent page.
