  1. I would love to see some of the guys from the 90's and 00's get some love besides the usual suspects...some B tracks like James Brooks, Carl Pickens, Jeff Blake, Rudi Johnson, Brian Simmons, Levi Jones, Richie Braham, Bobbie Williams (that online from 2005 was the best in the past 20 years), Darnay Scott, etc.. Repairing relationships with former players and celebrating their careers is a big part of helping the Bengals become a first-class org, we can't expect the rest of the NFL to celebrate our former players if the organization doesn't. There were plenty of players that were extremely talented and loyal to the Bengals, those players should be celebrated while they are still alive.
  2. Glad to see Pratt man up, admit his mistake, apologize, and grow into a true team leader after last year's playoff loss. The Bengals are a stronger team that is battle-tested and knows what it takes to win it all, I think this is the year they bring that trophy back to Cincinnati.
  3. That's so Tomlin can glare at him when his play calls don't work....Tomlin isthisclose to firing Canada, he might do it at halftime, just relieve him of his duties like a failed military officer.
  4. This is what immediately popped into my head when I read your post...lol...word to yo mother!!!
  5. Buffalo is the biggest bunch of woulda, coulda, shoulda cry babies ever. They are scared to play the Bengals, that's why they left town instead of staying to finish the game last year and why we beat their ass in the playoffs. It snows in Buffalo all the time, every year, like clockwork, so using snow as an excuse for they got their ass beat is weak and lame af.
  6. I was born in Indy and lived there until I moved to Cincy when I was 11 years old so IU basketball was a big part of my childhood...Isiah Thomas, Damon Bailey, Calvin Cheaney, Alan Henderson, etc...and Bobby Knight was the leader of all of those teams....now that I'm older and a bit wiser I look back and realize what a douche bag this guy was, he was out of control and behaved in a way that was completely unnecessary. There are plenty of great coaches in CBK who didn't have to treat people the way he did; John Wooden, Dean Smith, and one up the road in Lafayette...Gene Keady...showing emotion is fine but Knight crossed the line and did not seem remorseful at all.
  7. Knight was a good coach but also a complete asshole, he wouldn't have been able to get away with half the shit he did in today's society He is the definition of white privilege and many of the things that he did would have gotten many other non-white men fired including but not limited to: Punching a police officer Say this about rape on national TV - "Knight said: "I think that if rape is inevitable, relax and enjoy it." Using a whip to discipline a black player in front of the media and refusing to apologize when asked to by the NAACP, then mocking them during the game by using a towel fake whip the same player...what a jokester..amirite?? Fighting with an opposing team's fan in the lobby of a hotel after a game Choking a player during practice Assaulting a student who dared call him by his last name Knight was a bully who used his stature and success at IU to do whatever the hell he wanted whenever he wanted and that's what got him fired. He was a good basketball coach but a shitty person who took advantage of vulnerable student-athletes by physically and verbally abusing them.
  8. Thanks for sharing, there are some very thought-provoking articles in those links, and I will share a few so anyone who didn't click on it can read it.
  9. So who is scarier John Wick or George Soros...you realize that Soros is a holocaust survivor Jew, so if he decides to support a cause against Israel then maybe he has a valid reason. Also, I couldn't find any articles from a credible organization, this story was broken by the NY Post, most famous for its hard-hitting journalism like Page 6 and juvenile headlines that always rhyme. Soros's non-profit gave money to many organizations in the past that participated in Pro Palestine protests, but that doesn't mean he directly funded those protests as you claim. If I give a homeless person 10 bucks and then two years later he commits a crime, I didn't fund that criminal...but carry on with the deflection.
  10. What proof do you have that George "The Boogeyman" Soros is paying for these protest and more importantly why would he do that?
  11. If they try to have him block Hubbard or Hendrickson it's going to be a long night for him, also he's got injury concerns so he may want to be careful coming across the middle on this defense.
  12. Running David Carr out of town in favor of Jimmy G was a huge mistake, Carr was good enough to win, they needed to fix the defense and they didn't. Also, McDaniels is obviously a bad HC, he's been fired twice, so clearly he doesn't have what it takes to motivate players and get the results that were needed
  13. The Saints and the Falcons could both make now that the Vikes are without Cousins for the season.
  14. If they hadn't used a first round pick on Murphy then maybe they would have gone after Young or Lawson, but it would stunt his development if they traded for another DE.
  15. The Bengals can always franchise him, but he may take a team-friendly deal after we win the Super Bowl.
  16. It's not an either-or situation, this re-sign Jonah or Burrow is going to get sacked every play argument is ridiculous. Jonah is playing well but he's not some future HOF'er..a few months ago everyone was ready to trade him and he got replaced for a reason.
  17. That was a dumb tweet, which is saying something...Ebron was an over-drafted TE that did little to nothing while in the NFL and he's been out of the NFL for 2 years, why would anyone think the Bengals are going to consider him? Ebron was the 10th overall pick and had several opportunities to play and he didn't do much when he was in his prime, a 30-year-old coming off the couch isn't going to do anything but get hurt...
  18. I dunno, DJ Reader is a leader in the locker room and makes this defense go. He's able to eat up blocks which makes it hard for teams to double Henderickson. Maybe they can sign both, but I would take Reader over Jonah as he been the more consistent player throughout his tenure with the Bengals.
  19. Who knows with the Cardinals, they are a classless org that seems inept and clueless. They have been one of the worst franchises in the last 5 years, they had a good season in 2021, but outside of that, they haven't been above .500.
  20. Chase Young coming back to Ohio would be awesome and make us the Super Bowl favorite, putting Young on the other side of Henderickson would be crazy... https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-commanders-are-taking-calls-on-chase-young
  21. Levis looked really good in his first start against a defense that has some talent, but not much pass rush. If the Titans can keep JJ Watt off of him Levis can make every throw, he has the arm talent to make big plays and Hopkins is playing good football still. The Stealers could definitely lose this game, with or without Pickett
  22. They said it will be the rookie, Clayton Thune... https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/reports-clayton-tune-is-expected-to-start-for-cardinals But maybe it's some gamesmanship and Murray will get the start.
